While I haven’t been in this restaurant in a long, we just went there. With 3 kids and different requests, we found something for everyone one. The tiger roll and the spider rolls were very good. The cucumber roll was exactly what my little one wanted. The beef short ribs were great also. The service was good and they answered our questions. The place is simple and clean the same way I remember it.

Good quality sushi. Novi and west Bloomfield has a lot of good sushi places so I am not surprised. I really like their udon. The stock is simple and clean. Feels like they really take their time to boil the stock instead of tasting like instant ramen packets like some other Japanese restaurants.

Lots of pros and cons to this place. The pros: bibimbap was very good and so was the Mexican roll and miso soup. The staff was friendly and accommodating as well. The cons: the crunch roll and ginger salad wasn’t good, the place is small, and the bathrooms are dirty. I would have gave it 2 stars but the bibimbap saved it slightly.

My boyfriend and I went to dinner at Mene and I would not recommend it to anyone. First off we walk in and there are 3 dirty tables right next to where we sat with plates and dishes on the table. We already had a bad taste due to how dirty it was. When we got seated the host only gave us one menu?? were we supposed to share a menu? Then when we finally got our food. I asked for a fork and she comes back maybe 15mins later to tell us the forks are “locked in the dishwasher”. what kind of restaurant doesn’t have forks? I did not like my roll so I politely asked for it to be sent back. The server leaves with the the dish and comes back 5mins later saying it can’t be refunded due to how expensive it was ($14) and puts it BACK on the table? She says the only thing we can do is order more food of the price value of our first dish. So I order something safe like california rolls. They were fine but I didn’t need all this food. I had to order 3 rolls to match the price difference. I wish they could have just taken it off the original thing in the first place. Our bill was 80 DOLLARS which is not including tip. I was planning on having a nice evening and spending maybe $40 dollars not $80. Don’t go here and don’t waste your time. If you want good sushi go to New Yotsuba (the food is great and the wait staff is amazing) or Ninja sushi.
