Had a wonderful experience here. The level of service provided by the staff was exceptional – they were genuinely friendly and attentive throughout the entire meal. What surprised me the most was the affordability of the menu; despite the reasonable prices, the quality of the food was outstanding. Some of the dishes may not be as “traditional” when it comes to BBQ but they are delicious nonetheless.I highly recommend Memphis Minnie’s to anyone looking for a yummy meal.

So we super over ordered because we wanted to try everything but it worked out perfectly. We ordered the taster plate as well as the pork sandwich and shared everything, the fried chicken being my favorite of the meats. The corn bread was really good and came out looking like a cupcake. They also have lychee juice on the menu which I had ordered. It was a slower afternoon and the owner actually wound up serving us for the most part and I believe his wife was the other person to help us out, both of whom were very friendly and informative. The different options for sauce are especially welcome as we both have our own thoughts on what bbq sauce should taste like. As two important notes: there is a kitty that belongs to the liquor store next door (named Piano if I remember correctly, cat not the store) that is very friendly and makes the rounds nearby (which is why I wanted to eat there originally) and after our meal, they brought us what I believe to be whoppie pies as a parting gift.

Nice little BBQ spot. Sauce was a bit lacking, but meats were good and all employees were friendly and attentive. Some pleasant additions like a (yummy) free tomato soup.

The people who run this restaurant are so friendly. When you order takeout they bring you a cup of tomato soup! And it’s so yummy! And the sandwich came with the cutest fox and bunny toothpicks in it. I am absolutely delighted. The food is delicious too, so it was a wonderful experience top to bottom.

They re-did the inside and it looks great! I ordered takeout from here and sat down to wait for it & they even brought me a little complimentary soup (which was delicious)! It was a nice little touch. The caesar tri-tip salad also never disappoints and is even cheaper than most other salads in the city. All in all, always a reliable, great local spot!

Just ordered at 11:45 and I am eating yesterdays reheated food. DONT order this place for LUNCH. Fries soggy. Beans tasteless. Ribs and beef seemed like they could be good if cooked fresh. Maybe dinner is better?

We went on a quiet Thursday night. Service was impeccable! They gave us free broccoli cheddar soup as an appetizer and an extra side of Mac N Cheese. I went to college in Memphis so was skeptical but they were great and the food was delicious!

Good food, good service, pricey but most BBQ is. Changed hands since I was last there precovid. Nice Asian man and woman there now. Dramatic interior remodel. We went at kind of an odd hour so were the only customers. Servings could have been more generous. Restaurant business is tough, especially with food prices skyrocketing. I get it.

The food is still good but the new owners sure Screwed up the atmosphere by taking down the cool stuff along with the kid’s (Big and little) drawings and putting up a wall replacing the glass shelves so you can’t see the sides and desert’s or talk to the cook’s anymore.
