Very expensive “fast food” and worth the price. Sandwiches are loaded and well-prepared. Good chips. Be prepared to pay extra for things like sauces. (Note: it was the first time I have seen a request for a tip in fast food– did not feel appropriate given the menu pricing.)

I can’t believe how many times I’ve driven by and I’ve never stopped, until today! Absolutely, amazing, had half an “Oinker” along with their homemade potato chips and dipping sauce. Probably the most amazing sandwich I have ever ever had… huge portions too by the way. The flavors are outstanding, and the staff and owner take their time and explain the menu very well. I won’t be surprised if this place is absolutely packed as more and more people find out about Meltz… this is an absolute must try!

Don’t try eating this and driving. Tried the Oink and the Huck. Both were OK. Took it to go. Half the stuff fell out of the sandwich. Needed a fork to clean up after. Two half sandwiches were almost too much even without the chips and drink. They have a sign up that says waits could be 15-30 minutes during busy hours. Friendly service. Wasn’t fast but not slow either. Presentation was good. The DO offer a gluten free option. Would eat there again.

Ate here for the first time at the Gowen Thunder Air Show and they didn’t disappoint! I got the original grilled cheese and they definitely don’t skimp on the cheese! So gooey and perfect. Definitely filled me up and love that you can add anything you want to it too, like protein.

A friend and I stopped in earlier this week for my first time and we had the Potsticker Meltz & the Oinker as well as their chips and all the dips! I thoroughly enjoyed this meal I actually I was eating the leftover chips and dips and they’re THAT good they prompted me to write this days after my visited. Definitely much more than just grilled cheese! The Potsticker was so unique and delicious I really loved that dipping sauce that comes with it they matched perfectly and the Oinker perfectly portioned mac & cheese, and BBQ pulled pork is a win in anyone’s book! Great service and attentive staff, very clean establishment too! Will be visiting again!

We hadn’t even heard of this place, found it on a “food near me” search after a Dr appt at St Al’s. The service was fantastic, the gal at the register was so helpful and friendly. Girl has customer service in her bones! They brought the food out and it was so good! She asked several times how it was and how we were doing! Any chance you’ll have an Ontario Or location?? We will definitely be back on our next Boise trip!

Wish you had a place that was just gooey cheese, juicy meat, and sweet sweet spice than you should probably going to Meltz. The simple decorations and constant country music did not prepare me for the delicious warm comfort of Mac and cheese and grilled cheese sandwich dripping in sweet sauce. Cheese lovers everywhere, go to this restaurant and rejoice.

Awesome gluten free grilled sandwiches!! I had the Ruben. I would have never even considered this place if not for the Find Me Gluten Free app. LOVED the loud verbal confirmation from the cashier to the cooks (“gluten allergy incoming!”). Thank you so much for that- you get us! The sandwich was so good that, despite the excellent communication, I was worried my order was mixed up so I ate half and waited 4 hours before eating the other half- no reaction, definitely gluten free. Looking forward to bringing my kids here. So happy to have another safe and quick option in Boise!

This place is really yummy! My boyfriend had the Oinker which has mac and cheese and pulled pork and I had a 4 cheese grilled cheese with tomato soup. We also had one of each of their cookies, Yum! The mac and cheese is really good! Has a sort of spice! No to go boxes but they give you a foil that wraps up your sandwich perfectly! We’ll definitely go back!
