Traditional American diner that didn’t disappoint. We wanted burgers, large fries, American extra long drinks and we got it all!

It’s fine. With Canters and so many other options so close I can’t see going here again. The food was decent. It was Hollywood prices but I expected that. The service was just ok. Not terrible. Not exceptional. Atmosphere, meh. It tries to be an old brightly lit diner. High ceilings didn’t jibe and the kitsch was pretty obvious and not actual vintage so….

Everything was fresh, the waiter was informative patient and very well mannered. They were quick, didn’t wait long to be seated, and received our food.

When I travel, since I ❤️food. I also love to check out and support small business. While I’m LA, had to check out Mel’s Drive in Hollywood

I loved the place. It’s a traditional 1950’s American diner. The food was amazing and our waitress was great too 🙂

Service was okay, not much of discussion with that, our server was friendly and kind. The food was great, I loved it and I think this is the place for sandwiches and burgers. The atmosphere was everything, the 50s dinner the decor it was everything that made the diner feel alive.

Me and my two kids went on a trip to LA and we stopped by because we were looking for somewhere to get a bite to eat. We saw this place and decided to have lunch here. I ordered the black bean burger and my kids ordered the penguin milkshake, chicken tenders, and Greek yogurt with granola. My kids liked the penguin at first but later they said they don’t want to finish it because it tasted strange and was too sweet. My daughter ordered the yogurt and granola and she said it tasted very plain. My son got the chicken tenders and he said it tasted good but the fries were too soggy. My bean burger was plain, dry, and tasteless. Also we were missing sides that the menu said came with our entrées and it took what seemed like an hour to receive the check. I will never come back to this place even if I’m starving.

I was skeptical because it’s a chain diner but the food was really good and came out super fast. The menu prices were different then my bill and the unmotivated kid at the front didn’t care. The service was pretty bad. Never saw the server. Had to walk around to find him. Never came and asked if we needed anything or even how the food was. The food was really good though.
