What can I say about this place, it was the cutest diner I have been to and the food is pretty good. Sometimes it’s a hit or miss with diners these days. A must-stop in! I had their roasted turkey & husband tried their fish. Apple pie is a MUST. A homemade pie that tastes good. Will return someday when we come back through the area!

July 2023 I want to update my review..the last few times I’ve eat here which includes yesterday..was such a change from last year.. the meal yesterday which our server Lisa was awesome, delicious,fast service, hot and tasty food and it’s definitely worth the time to go online and be on the dine & earn list, this includes perks for birthdays, $10 off every 100 spent and email newsletter monthly with the special’s..I think what was the nicest change was out server Lisa, she had a great welcoming personality, fast service, and it’s such a change from a year ago with the service, I wanted to do a updated review after my last times dining and taking out.. I’m sure that everything won’t and isn’t the best but I’ve discovered my favorites and there always delicious.. being off season is the best and easiest time to enjoy Mel’s..( as I did go a couple times in season and it’s not the best time, crowded, inpatient & slower service,) but off season is fantastic and highly recommend you checking them out .. thank you for a affordable and delicious meal with great service.***

A true authentic diner menu – there’s something for everyone; morning, noon or night. This is the third Mel’s diner I have eaten – Naples, Ft Myers and Bonita Springs. All have wonderful servers that are attentive but not overwhelming. Food is served at the desired temperature; hot when it’s supposed to be hot and cold when it’s supposed to be cold. Mel’s is a restaurant I seek out. Enjoy the family friendly atmosphere including the background music.

Very good ambiance. The menu has a bit of everything. Unfortunately, the noodles of my meal (shrimp with linguine) were a bit too soft. The manager then came to the table and apologized. I found it very good, hence the 5 stars. The service was also very friendly.

Definitely not homemade. Both my husband and I were in the mood for a good old fashioned pot roast dinner and that’s not what we got! Meet was sliced weird, corn wasn’t drained and we had a wet mess in our mashed potatoes. Gravy was so salty I couldn’t eat more then a few bites of my meal. We prefer quality over quantity. Not going back.
