I really tried to like this place. It is a beautiful restaurant, but they are not consistent with the quality of the food. Every time I went, there was always something off. And this visit really did it for me, to not go again. They served me the driest pork ever. I let the waitress know, I couldn’t even finish it. She told, I’m guessing the manager, the Manager gave me the dirtiest look, as if I was in the wrong. She even laughed when the waitress showed her the plate. You could tell the waitress wanted to to make sure I was a satisfied customer. They still charged me for the plate that I didn’t even finish, and you could tell it was super dry. I have ordered that plate before and it was not the same. The only thing on point are their drinks.

Very tasty but definitely the seafood tower too spicy, Although the place is small, it is very colorful. The service needs a little more courtesy. The prices seem fair to me and the horchata it’s very flavored.

Initial impression is that the restuarant looks beautiful. It’s small, but cute with plenty of seating. When we went in to be seated, the hostess ruined our first time experience with them. She only asked how many, started walking with the menus (No Silverware), and tossed them on the table. No follow me, no this is where you’ll be sitting, no enjoy your food. Not another word, just rude. That’s a complete turn off from the very beginning. The server was nice and as helpful as she could be. The food sucked. We went for the Birria Tacos and it was bland. I would not suggest those at all. We had to add salt to everything. My daughter had a quesadilla and the cheese wasn’t melted. My husband had the Birria which were bland, and I had Carnitas that tasted ok, but I was missing all the garnish and the refried beans were nasty and gray not brown. We were also informed that the food is not consistent in taste, and the Birria is made for the week, not fresh. I would not recommend this place.

My family has dined with Melecios in Lumberton since they opened. Before that we drove from Lumberton to the one in Pembroke. We have been long time customers. But after today we will no longer dine with them. We got to the Restaurant a few minutes before 2:00 pm. We were told we couldn’t order from lunch menu which ends at 2. My daughter told the waitress we were there before 2.The waitress basically called us liars because she told us we were not there before 2. My daughter, husband and I looked at her and said yes we were. By the time she took our order it was after 2 and if we could not order lunch then fine but don’t tell me I am lying. We are Christians and didn’t appreciate being told that. Also if you are inside Restaurant before 2 even if it’s ten minutes then I should be able to order off lunch menu. My husband and I won’t be back not because of lunch menu but being told we weren’t telling truth.

What was I thinking? I ordered the ribeye steak meal and I was so disappointed. The steak was cut super thin and I was told they had NO steak sauce of any kind. What made it even worse was the steak had zero season or ribeye taste much. Also, the steak had a huge amount of fat all on one side. I usually get the burrito and it is really good but my friend told me he tried the steak and it was good. He also said the steak he got was thick cut…not sure if that is true or he may be use to thinly sliced steaks. At any rate, I would not recommend the ribeye to any person that is looking for a good ribeye meal.

We were so happy to finally try this new restaurant, but it was very disappointing. My friend only eats chicken as protein and asked for chicken only in her meal. She was served red meat, and politely asked for chicken only and was met with extreme attitude by the waitress. The waitress was so upset from this one small request her manager had to calm her down. The food was decent, but definitely not worth dealing with the attitude! If you have any food allergies/restrictions make sure you clarify specifically to your server before ordering! We will not be dining here again.
