This was a random visit at this restaurant while visiting Berkeley, and i had few friends for the lunch. This is by far a restaurant to refrain visiting from in terms of their food which ironically is what people look forward to in a restaurant. Owners of Mehak restaurant doesn’t seem to get this simple concept of good food. Its a absolute disgrace from a Indian diaspora perspective to see a restaurant selling food under the disguise of authentic Indian food. .

I grew up in this neighborhood. And Mehak has only gotten better. The lamb Korma and the chicken vindaloo with the garlic naan blew my mind. I ate way more in one sitting than I should have!
