This is a great alternative to the many fast food joints in this shopping area. We really like that one of us can get good sushi while the other has Chinese. They also will make most sushi dishes with brown rice if requested (this can be hard to find).

Megu is a great place to get sushi. The folks at this location have good service, sushi is out quick, staff is friendly and restaurant is clean, and you can always find a seat. On top of that the General Tao’s chicken and Kung Pao chicken here is top notch.

Megu is back in the Moorestown location. Very quiet when we arrived but it got busy as we were leaving which was good to see. Updated inside, very nice as well as the staff. We got the dumplings in chili oil, was good, but not my favorite. I got the chicken pad thai, really good, love that it was topped with peanuts. My partner got 2 sushi rolls – vegetable roll and shrimp roll, he really liked both of them. Most definitely will be back!!

Their food is good, but their portions have gotten smaller and prices have gone up. Menu isn’t updated, so you don’t really know what you’re paying. Sadly, they’re the only show in town that offers more than the average Chinese food.

I haven’t visited Megu for good Szechuan-style food since the pandemic began. I was in the area for some shopping and decided to stop in. There is plenty of space for a weekday lunch. They also have a nice outdoor dining patio. The music volume was low enough so you don’t have to talk loud just to be heard.

We ate at Megu Asian Cuisine in Morristown NJ today and the food was great!!! My wife and I had Meso and Wonton Soup both were excellent! We also tried a Shrimp Tempura roll also excellent! For the main meal she had the Shrimp Teriyaki bento box and I had the Kung Pao Chicken with Jasmine rice. Very happy with the taste, quality and portions! We will be back!!

I was extremely disappointed by my last visit here. The dumplings in oil were extremely greasy and disgusting. The rice is undercooked and over seasoned. The Generals chicken was good but everything else left a lot to be desired. There are MANY better options in the area.
