The only time I have tried out a place that we ordered from work outside of work. Pizza was fantastic. The fig pizza was perfectly sweet and salty and savory. Staff was very friendly.

The food is great, but the manager needs to improve her people skills. When my husband picked up our order, he was given the wrong pizza. When I call to inform them, I was told , yes they had our 10” pizza. The employee said to keep the wrong pizza and they would deliver our pizza. After waiting an hour I called and spoke to the owner/manager, explained & gave her our pizza order and our address. Meanwhile , I checked the receipt and we had been charged for a large pizza and were getting a small. My husband went back to show the receipt and get a partial refund and the owner said he had to RETURN the large pizza which we had eaten 2 slices from. He came back for the pizza and returned to the restaurant. Refund given and correct pizza picked up. Manager said she would donate the large pizza, but isn’t that a health violation as it had left the establishment? I am sorry they were slammed with orders, but this is not customer service.

This small place packs a punch and is my go-to pizza place. The spicy marinara is a must on all orders and is perfect. Lots of cheese and BY FAR the best supreme pizza I’ve ever had – great sausage with jalapenos included. These people take pride in their product!

One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had! The Turkish Pizza is something you have got to try. Everything was so fresh and the crust is amazing! In the words of my 8 year old, it was “heaven”. The owner and staff are good people and very kind. The atmosphere is very chill and I know they are about to update their outside seating as well. I highly encourage giving this place a try and guarantee you will be back. I can’t wait to try more items.

This is honestly the best place for pizza and other food. Mr Ben is the most welcoming owner. He makes you feel like you’re in his home kitchen, not simply in a restaurant. You can taste the quality of the food. The service and the friendly staff have never disappointed. This is now our go to spot.

We stopped by Meaux Jeaux as we were headed out of New Orleans after our Spring Break trip. I just happened to pick the place at random from Google maps. I’m so glad we found Meaux Jeaux, because it was fantastic. We had a spinach artichoke pizza, and my husband, 12-year-old daughter, and I all agreed it was one of the best pizzas we’ve ever had. Maybe actually the best. And we’ve had a lot of gourmet veggie pizzas in our days. Staff were really nice, too, and the interior was pretty cute. The only thing I’m sad about is that I can’t get it from Austin. I hope we’re able to eat there again next trip to NOLA, so it doesn’t just become the stuff of legends.

We’ve tried 7 different pizzas from Meaux Jeaux and they’ve all been absolutely delicious. My personal favorites are the fig and the pear. It’s the only pizza place in the area doing really interesting flavor combinations like I used to find in California, and they do them so well – but even the classics like pepperoni or four cheese are fabulous. Also, the staff is so sweet! We’ve done pickup and delivery and everyone I’ve talked to has been delightful. My only request would be to try occasionally rotating in even more interesting flavor combos, like a seasonal fruit or tikka masala or Detroit style. But no matter what, we’ll keep coming back until we try everything on the menu!
