Wichita’s neighborhood butcher shop, located next door to The Anchor in the Douglas Design District where Old Town meets Downtown.
We carry Creekstone Farms Premium Black Angus Beef, Heritage Red Wattle Pork from Wendland Farms, Rare Hare Barn Rabbits, and Good Shepherd Poultry. We also have a nice selection of artisanal cheeses and La Quercia cured meats, along with locally sourced Heritage chicken eggs, house-made bacon and sausages, and a variety of locally sourced pantry goods.
We have met some great Kansas farmers over the past few years and will continue to forge relationships that benefit our customers and the community at large.

Owners are super sweet! The empanadas were so delicious, My friend and I will definitely be back. The prices are reasonable. We had the Buffalo chicken, so stinking good. Also their Lemon Herb Aioli was great .

I did try the empanadas and I like them, but makes me wonder if the pictures of the restaurant are from a different place in some other part of the planet lol. Ok let me tell you why, I went in in it looked like a new York deli, no tables and no chairs to sit down and eat, one person attending, a few products on sale and that’s it. Oh yeah the cases had meats and some other stuff, and one specifically for cold food. I did get freshly made empanada and I liked them. Did I go to the wrong place. The address is the same the sign too, but not a restaurant setting, this was 2 or 3 weeks ago on a Saturday after 3pm. Anyone? Help , and if someone can be specific, is there a deli and a restaurant, which door? Anything helps

Argentinian Empanadas inside the anchor meat market is delicious. Very nice selection of empanadas. Four empanadas is a large meal. The lunch meal deal with 3, chips, and a drink is great. Perfect for catering. Buy them by the dozen for the best price.

Came here for lunch with my wife. We’ll definitely return again. Fresh empanadas made daily along with their tasty sauces. My favorite empanada is Don’t cry for my onion and favorite sauce is hot sauce.

I had steak with fries and was not disappointed. It was fantastic. They have a huge selection of beer to choose from. My kids were accommodated as well and ate all of their food. The staff was friendly and our waitress was a pro. I would highly recommend eating here.

Always a great selection of high quality cuts of meat, house made sausages, locally produced food products (such as salsas and success), and in-house pasta that I love!
