When the waitress brought the fries out, my friend and I looked at each other and said ” how do they even serve these fries looking like this? These are awful. ” And that they were. Awful. They look like they came from under the fryer. There is no way they legitimately bring these fries to the table and then ask you how they are with the straight face. I would say that I love fries generally. These fries aren’t even edible. Think of an ultra-dense potato that is solid grease. Maybe it’s old grease? I don’t know. But they’re the worst fries I’ve ever had in my entire life. The Mac and cheese wrap I ordered was mediocre at best. I’d recommend skipping this place.

It started off by taking 26 minutes to get a Diet Pepsi, kids water, kids lemonade, and an adult water. There were 4 other tables occupied in the entire restaurant! The food came at 30 seconds later. Very unorganized and it wasn’t even busy here! For the price the food was simply ok but not worth the wait at all. Definitely not what we expected and it was not a great experience overall. Staff seems distracted and not on the ball.

Holy smokes!!! The ribs here literally fall off the bone. Food is outstanding and that’s coming from a guy who loves his meat. Our waitress harmony was very on point with getting our order and helping my lady create a drink that is now her new favorite. Thanks again you guys. It was amazing!!!

We went to check out MCKs this past Saturday night for the first time. My impressions of the restaurant are “slow service” and “average food. “ My wife ordered the brisket chili and loved it. I ordered baby back ribs and they were just ok. It took a while for the food to come out. I have been to a lot of bbq places and the food normally only takes a few minutes. It’s mostly already cooked and just has to be put on a plate and served. It seemed like it took forever to get the food and the restaurant wasn’t too busy.

I ordered lunch for my staff for administrative professionals day and they raved about it. Today, I decided to see what the hype was for myself. It did not disappoint! Everything I tried was absolutely delicious!!! From the collard greens with brisket, to the baked beans with pulled pork, green beans with fried potatoes & onions and fries, the sides were amazing! I also ordered baby back and St. Louis style ribs and both were equally tender and delicious. Lastly, the potato skins with burnt ends were also fantastic! My favorite sauces are sweet & bold and Texas-I could drink them! I will absolutely be back to try more items on the menu very soon!

This is one of the best BBQ restaurants I’ve ever had. Everything from the main dishes to the sides are absolutely delicious. The restaurant has a nice smell of smoke that I look forward to in BBQ restaurants, and it definitely isn’t overpowering, so it enhances the experience. I was greeted right away by one of the pitmasters and I was seated quickly. Everyone is very friendly. I will definitely be back.
