Just had the special hot Boars Head corned beef on an onion bagel. Very delicious. I heard about it in the radio and had to give it a try. The location sneaks up on you but it’s well worth seeking it out. There is a great eating area out front.

I was looking to have a breakfast/ brunch catered to our hotel room for my bridal party the day of my wedding while we were getting our hair & makeup done. McEvoy’s culinaria was recommended by the hotel I were staying at. I initially reached out to Scott at McEvoy’s & was put in touch with Janet. Janet did a great job in creating a menu based on what we wanted & our budget. She was also very conscientious of dietary preferences & provided us with several vegan options. Janet was so sweet & touched base with the event manager at our hotel to ensure everything went smoothly & was set up properly for our morning. The food was absolutely delicious & was the perfect start to my wedding day! Also – the macaroons were a big hit. So good! I would highly recommend McEvoy’s culinaria to anyone looking for a caterer for a special occasion – big or small!

Incredible food in the deli– definitely not your average sandwich shop. Fresh ingredients and delicious side dishes. I’ve heard nothing but great things about the paella (haven’t tried it yet but hoping to serve it at our wedding this fall)!

Staff are friendly. One of the few places that serve Boar’s Head and make soups from scratch. Soup and 1/2 sandwich is my favorite. At least one hot entree at lunch-usually sliders. Large cooler with ready to go sandwiches, bulk tuna(yes with celery) dinner entrees, pizza plus a few Imported beers.

One of our favorite places in DC. Food and service is great. The best take home pizza and paella night is amazing! Miss seeing staffs smiling faces because of masks but know everyone is just trying to stay safe. Look forward to your delicious Thanksgiving dinners again this year!

Excellent deli using Boars Head Meat & Cheese. We shared Ham, Turkey & Pepper Jack cheese cold sandwich made to order. We chose lettuce, red onion tomato & mayo. Served on a delicious crusty French Bread. Several outsidectables if weather permits. Perfect lunch spot with friendly service.
