This is quite possibly the worlds slowest McDonalds, and I just moved here from Decatur so that’s definitely a tall order. Twice in a month they had me “pull up” and left me sitting there for 15 minutes while I watch other cars drive thru. Seriously slow, bad service. I’ll head on over to “Original Burger” when they officially open. Keep it local and no more mystery meat!

Okay I’m going to go ahead and save this. This chain established on the golden arches brings one thing to mind to me. And that one thing is hot salty crisp McDonald’s french fries. No matter how you take them plain with salt and ketchup or even dipped in a milkshake they’ve got to be good. I rate McDonald’s restaurants based on the quality of their French fries. To my mind if I was a district manager or a regional manager that would be criteria as well as it is in indicative of their brand. This McDonald’s got it right and they get it right just about every time I’m there. Now I have to be honest I really don’t like eating a burger at McDonald’s anymore. Maybe I’m stuck up because I eat clean beef locally raised and it just tastes a little different. I’ll be back to this McDonald’s honestly not often because there is another option in town I really love a mom and pop Burger Shop and Shelbyville called Druby’s try that place too it’ll knock your Aunt Connie socks off.

Their system was down so they couldn’t retrieve my order. Usually everyone is relatively friendly, but today I was talked to very poorly and the manager on duty was of no help. I am always very polite and understanding as I have worked customer service most my life. There was no excuse for the way they were acting. I was having a terrible day at work myself and thought a quick McDonald’s run would cheer me up but they only managed to make it worse.

Employees seem lost. I ordered 2 egg mcmuffins and 2 coffees. Took 15 minutes to get the sandwiches and another 20 before we gave up and asked for a refund on the coffee. The manager tried to blame it on the order screen. Claiming that the order hadn’t come up yet, but given we had the food and the people ordering after us had their McCafe drinks I’m guessing someone cleared the order and didn’t bother to grab the coffees.
