The food was freshly made and pretty as a picture. The service? Lol! You order from a screen and the most impersonal person you can picture steps out from the kitchen, calls your number, drops it on the counter and quickly retreats back to their hole. The tables were dirty with old onions, shreds of lettuce and whatever else it was. Mostly solo diners and all staring at the others or the folks in line. Felt like I was in a penitentiary. Horrible feeling in there. Use the drive-thru and keep believing it’s the same McDonald’s as when you were a kid.

Probably the worst run McDonalds in Fort Wayne. Avoid it! There were just a few cars in the drive-thru line but I still had to wait 10 min after ordering to get the window. Then was asked to park and had to wait another 20min after I had already paid! When I did finally get my order I asked what was wrong. She said “oh, we are under staffed” as she casually walked back in to the restaurant. Based on the attitude and the lack of a sense of urgency shown by the staff, this has to be the worst run restaurant around. To top it off, the food was cold and the hamburger was burnt. In their defense, I guess it does take longer to burn the food and then wait for it to get cold! I don’t normally give 1 star reviews, even when something is wrong, but this is well earned.

Never really had a problem here until the last month. Just got back from waiting at the window to receive my food for 10 min after I had already paid for it. I would’ve just driven away if I hadn’t paid already. No one ever came up to tell me there would be a wait or even acknowledge the window. I watched 4 different employees walk by and fill up the shift drinks at the soda machine and start drinking them right in front of the window like there was nothing else to do. When I was finally handed my drink there was a layer of water on top from the ice that had melted while I waited. My fries were put in the bag upside down and the box for my burger was open and on its side as well. I don’t know what happened in the past month here but suddenly this went from the best McDonald’s in the city to my worst experiences ever.

In ordered 2 filet o fish and they came with toasted and not steamed buns. Totally gross. I waited over 30 mins in the drive thru and was not going back.

What in the World happened to McDonalds? I mean, leaving aside the vibe and decor looking more like a steril modern coffee house, they have isolated us from *almost* any human contact. And, how can an order kiosk be closed? I don’t like leaving bad reviews, because every place has a bad day and maybe that is all this was, but it should not be this complicated or take 20 minutes to get a large Coke. I went in since the drive through was wrapped around the building, only to find the line inside four people deep and stationary as well.

I was in the drive-thru line waiting my turn to give my order on 7/17/2023 around 9:00p.m. The person in the other lane, his order showed up on my screen. Ok, it’s not a big deal. Someone pushed a wrong button. Next on the menu, the ice cream selections were marked out with a line thru the description, then where the price was supposed to be it read coming back. Then I saw a display in the bottom left corner of the screen that showed ice cream with prices-which is it? I asked the person on the intercom about it, and he verified that ice cream was not available. I said thank you and drove away. When I passed the window to make payments, a man yelled Dairy Queen! Not very dignified.

Would give zero stars if I could. Went through the drive thru today and I ordered a Blue Raspberry frozen drink with my order. After paying got to second window where girl tried to had me a frozen Sprite. She began complaining the woman in first window should have told me the machine was down. She kept asking me if I wanted the Sprite but before I could answer she would start talking over me. When I was finally able to say I didn’t want the sprite she told me I was rude and slammed window in my face. The manager came to talk to me and as he was talking to me she is pacing behind him calling me rude loudly. And he tells me, “well you can see she is really upset. I was instead given a regular coke that cost a dollar even though I paid for a more expensive drink. When I arrived home I discovered I wasn’t given the sauce for the my nuggets or any napkins. I’m still in shock that I was treated so horribly for saying I didn’t want the Sprite.
