Stopped in after a rain soaked day at knoebels with my wife, 1 year old and 3 year old. Everyone was friendly, helpful and the food was better than most McDonald’s. The food wasn’t just slapped together in a rush, they took their time and everything looked very good as well. They ran out of hot fudge for one of the Sundays and it was taking a few minutes to replace so they gave me the Sunday they ran out of fudge for and then brought our table another one once the fudge had been replaced. Everyone that was working there seemed liked they really enjoyed what they do

Have not had a double cheeseburger in years so today was the day. Ordered a double with extra onions and pickles from the kiosk along with fries. Order was out very quick. Fries had obviously just been made and not sitting around. Burger was great. Inside was clean and the staff was friendly. Elysburg Mc D’s is probably one of the better restaurants in the chain.

Ordered breakfast and picked up an online order consisting of hashbrowns, drinks, big breakfast with hotcakes and McGriddles. The store was understaffed with only 3-4 on duty. The biscuit was a little hard and not even warm, the eggs were just barely warm and tossed onto the platter. The food I did get for even pickup took 15 mins to get which is a long wait time.

Kiosks don’t sell any drinks other than white milk! No sodas, coffees, nothing. While restaurant only has coke and milk and milkshakes. Then they got our order wrong: instead of meals they just did McMuffin and drink, so we had no hash browns on our order. We had to then order them separately after we got our food, and they forgot to give us our drinks.

The Shamokin/COAL twp mc donalds is so hit and miss. Sometimes the food and service is great. Other times it’s awful. You’ll ask for Sweet tea. They’ll give you unsweetened. I’m starting to think it’s a joke. You’ll ask for a steak bagel with everything extra sauce. You’ll get barely any sauce (even though you pay $0.70 more) and no onions. Ugh. But yeah. Let’s not mention the ice cream machine NEVER working.

I like goin to the McDonald’s in eleysburg because there’s one certain crew that we like to see on the way to work almost everyday but the one person is leaving after tomorrow so it might not be the same but at least we will have Goldie to look forward to to better our mornings but it would be better if they were both going to be there everyday.

Given how busy this McDonald’s gets for 5 months of the year, it is substantially undersized. That said, the food was prepared very well the day i went and the store was quite clean.
