First time visiting and I was very satisfied. My boyfriend and I both had the chicken and ribs dinner with Mac and cheese and collard greens and a sweet potato pie. The food was delicious. The chicken was tender even the white meat! The price was fair for the amount of food we had. I’d definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for some good soul food.

The ribs was day old ribs. They were very hard and the pieces of dried rib was not a pound of ribs, they put sauce on them to make it look good and when you get home it’s dried bones. Disgusting. I am done with McCrays Ribs. I can’t rate the food. The service was very slow. We were the only one in the drive thru. This is it the 1st time I got bad ribs.

We purchased 3 rib dinners. The sides were the size of testers. There was no rice or collard greens. We got the Mac & cheese and bake beans. The beans taste like elementary school beans. Had I not spit out the ribs, I’d still be chewing on them right now. I had to add my own bbq sauce. This was my 1st & last time eating there. Oh and the conch fritters were all bread & no conch!!

Ridiculous, wrong orders were given out. 3 people that ordered after me received their order after us, all I ordered was a whole overcooked chicken and a so called large potato salad. Then was told I couldn’t get more sauce than 2 little containers. Mr. McCray the father would be very disappointed in this establishment! Thumbs down

Food was not good at all . Meat wasn’t seasoned, bread was wet and soggy, French fries weren’t even cooked. And watch out for sitting outside millions of flies all over everything and continues flying on your food, drinks and tables. I kept hearing about this place and how good it was back in the day so we decided to try it for lunch. They open at 11 got there at 1130 so you’d think everything would be fresh. It tasted like yesterday’s food . It definitely smells alot better than it tastes. I really couldn’t see myself going back. The only thing I liked was the sauces but yet if you want extra sauce they charge and I feel if I’m paying 30$ + for 2 small plates I should get some extra sauce . We’ll we came, tried and it didn’t live up to the hype.

I heard a lot about this place and was excited to try it. The ribs and the barbecue sauce was good and my fries were nicely seasoned. I thought the portion sizes for the sides were kind of small and my mom’s chicken was half done. The sweet potato pie was very good.
