Great food and service. The only upsetting thing was- ginger ale delivered as 1/4 ginger ale, 1/4 water and 2/4s ice (might be off on exact measurements but it definitely tasted more water than ginger ale).

The owner is probably the 3rd or 4th most handsome guy I’ve ever met. He is a human encyclopedia of whisky knowledge. The food is amazing!! The one guy in the kitchen with the beard was like a ninja slicing and dicing and cooking the food. Killed it!! Quite little place, great atmosphere and staff. 5/5

The selection is amazing and the bartenders are knowledgeable so ask any questions! The service was a bit slow or maybe relaxed is a stretch and the food was either really good or okay. The porknsandwhich was good but my brisket sandwich left a little but to be desired. A bit pricey but if you know whiskey worth a stop as they have a few select bottles. Street parking FYI.

Beautiful bar with a warm and cozy atmosphere, great selection of bourbons and whiskeys. However, if you want to order anything but bourbon and whiskey, skip this place. I have had two unsatisfying experiences here while trying to order gin. They have a whole section of the menu for gin, yet on two separate occasions, the bartenders have tried to dissuade me from ordering it. I felt like I was being shamed for ordering what I wanted rather than what they wanted to serve me. It was extremely bizarre, and it made me feel unwelcome.

Awesome. The bacon wrapped dates were awesome as was the smoked duck breast. The bartender was also our server and made an amazing old fashioned cocktail. Great atmosphere. Huge selection of whiskies. Not a fan of Richmond but am of this place. BEST duck I’ve ever had.

I love this place! Best selection of whisky and whiskey I’ve ever seen. They had a variety of Laphroaig Cariadeas offerings and plenty of other Scotches (and American whiskeys) to choose from. The folks behind the bar are well versed, experienced, and quite willing to be of assistance. They have plenty of other options for non-brown alcohol drinkers, but why…. In addition the food is really good (my favorite is their chorizo meatloaf ) and a reason to visit on it’s own, the atmosphere in both locations is special. Pricing is quite reasonable so no excuse to drive by!

The environment here is so amazing, quaint small place in the Fan neighborhood with so much character. If you’re into Bourbon, they have a huge selection and if you’re not accustomed to drinking it neat, they have a couple of cocktail options. I did not get food the last time that I visited so I can’t speak to that.
