Food is always amazing and I love their tea. It’s always clean and food comes out at a reasonable time. A little pricey but worth it. My only complaint is that I had to stand at the front for about 5 minutes before an employee came out so I cld get a to go box. But I understand that restaurants get busy with carry out orders and things of that nature. They were very polite once they realized I was there.

Stopped by this Mccalisters location on my way through Amarillo today. The food was great and the service was awesome. The employees were very nice, outgoing and happy to chat with me. The manager on duty was very thoughtful and I enjoyed speaking with him briefly! I’ll be back by again in the future!

I should’ve known by the empty parking lot that going to this place would be a mistake. Didn’t get to try the food which is probably a good thing. Couldn’t get anything ordered because all of the children in the kitchen were back there laughing and cutting up. And then one of the little girls (finally) comes to the counter laughing doesn’t acknowledge us and just stands there looking out the window snickering. Horrible customer service. Probably a blessing because we went down the street to firehouse subs and it was awesome!

Very disappointed! I ordered the ultimate nachos & asked that the cheese & chili be put on the side. When I finally got home, I realized I didn’t get cheese or chili. I called & they said come on back & we’ll give it to you. I live on the other side of town.

The restaurant’s got a friendly crew that clearly works hard, but the restaurant is way understaffed. It took too long to order and get our food, and the too-dim lighting during the daytime just threw me off a bit. The overall experience could’ve been brighter and brisker.

My favorite part about McAlister’s Deli at both locations are the employees. They are the nicest sweetest people, always very helpful and accommodating. The food it’s not top quality but good enough for the price that I’ve been back a few different times now. They have a soup and sandwich combination that’s about $8. You can also get other items for the same price. It’s called the Pick Two. Sometimes I get a spud and soup, sometimes a half sandwich and soup. Their sides are only $0.99 each so if I want to increase the nutrition of my meal I add in some broccoli. Their broccoli is excellent. The veggie potato was disappointing. Potato with cheese and bacon or beef is better. Their corn and crab chowder was pretty good and I’m not a big corn chowder fan. Since they’re open till 10, this is a place that I will turn to if it’s after 9 p.m. or if I’m trying to keep my meal under $10.

It’s so sad to see how downhill this place is going. The food is absolutely terrible. I ordered the spud max and the potatoes were so small and hard not even cooked all the way. Also, had a ceasar salad and the lettuce was brown and old so I didn’t even attempt to eat it. My son had an uncrustable and it was so hard and gross looking, it looked like it had been sitting out for a week. The prices are outrageous so save your money and go to potato factory where they give you a big amazing potato with a ton of butter, sour cream and toppings. The staff look like they hate their job and are not friendly at all. They hire any one at all and its obvious. I would recommend raising the employee pay so you get genuinely good staff. Definitely won’t be back. Maybe try the coulter location before coming here I promise you will be disappointed here.

The McAlister’s off Soncy is way better. The cashier didn’t seem like she wanted to be there, and they put old avocado on my sandwich. I even found a random burned piece of corn and the end part of the avocado in my sandwich.

We waited for 20 mins for our meal. They apologized for the wait and offered a brownie as a peace offering. The brownie was absolutely delicious. I ordered the McAlister’s club and chips. Delicious as always. Friendly staff. Great customer service. Will be going back to this location again.
