Food was tasty and they offer some unique sub sandwiches along with some great soup and other choices. Highlight of our visit was the hilarious manager! He got a laugh out of me and my husband. He was also very helpful and had an overall charming demeanor. The restaurant was very clean and orderly. We will definitely be eating here again!

The Staff at this location are amazingly friendly and make you feel extremely welcome. The food is always amazing and the atmosphere is comfortable. The manager does the absolute most he can to take care of his guests. You can often find him out from behind the counter welcoming his regulars and running food. It’s great to see a manager being involved in the front of the house and taking care of guests!

This is a good McAlister’s location. I was traveling through Salina Kansas and decided to try this McAlister’s location for lunch. The staff was extremely friendly and prompt, and the food met my expectations. I ordered The New Yorker Sandwich (Corned beef, pastrami, Swiss and spicy brown mustard on marbled rye) with chips, my meal was delicious. I highly recommend this McAlister’s location.

My wife and I stopped in for dinner one evening. After waiting an absurdly long time for the 2 customers in front of us to go through the line (the staff was in no hurry…to the point of frustration for us). Our order consisted of the nacho basket, a dinner salad for my wife and I had a sandwich with mac and cheese. Our nacho basket was a plate of corn chips with watery cheese on the side. When I questioned the manager about the cheese, I was informed “that’s just how it is”. After a brief conversation they agreed to refund my money for the nachos (we didn’t eat any of them). My wife’s salad contained pieces of the lettuce “heart” if you know what that is, which was disappointing. My sandwich was ok. The mac and cheese was again, super runny. In summary, it was over-priced cafeteria food with poor service. With all the options in Salina, I don’t see us going back for quite a while.

I’ve been here many times. But we tried to go for lunch today, and there was a sewage stench as soon as you got to the doors. We went inside to go order and turned around and left because it smelled so bad. Never had a problem until today. Hopefully they get that fixed.

They forgot to include my chili on my choose 2 and when I called to complain, a sorry excuse for a manager named John took the call and his response was “well I put it in there.” Well, I don’t have it and this has happened twice. He hung up the phone on me not once, not twice, but three times. I am a regular customer for both Door Dash and McCalisters, but now I will be boycotting this restaurant after the way I was treated by “John.” Absolutely incredible. He also said “Jesus Christ” as if he’s the one who paid and didn’t get his food. Unbelievable.
