I was really pleased with this place. Super clean, staff were very friendly, food was quick and fresh. It was no problem to accommodate my gluten and dairy allergies. When I asked the staff person if they had gluten free bread, she was really pleased I asked and acted as if she was really proud that they did. The menu also has gluten free items marked. Great lunch option! It’s also cool that you can go in and immediately sit at a table and order through your phone to have the food brought to your table. Nice idea!

I will say the food was good and fresh. The issue I had is that they are not very friendly. When I spoke to the employees, only the young lady cleaning the lobby responded, and she was super nice. Several people, including us, were missing things off their order. It seems the manager on duty really does not have a grasp on what’s going on in the kitchen.

It took 25 mins to be served and the food was awful and cold. Macaroni tasted like it was from a bx. My sweet and savory bbq sandwich nasty and cold. Had to ask for bbq sauce because as you can see they put just a dab.

First time trying McAlister’s Deli. The food was delicious I was even more surprised when I had an option to get my sandwich on Gluten free bread. Will most definitely go back to try more of their menu.

Went in at 8:30 on 8/27/2023 and ordered with my gf for dine in. The Manager was rude to the group in front of me. Informed me that they were out of salads and potatoes which was fine cause we wanted sanwiches. She put our food in a to go bag but we told her dine in. Ignoring that we sat down and ate. We were done eating around 8:55 PM. I got up to go use the bathroom, employee was mopping and I said excuse me, may I use the bathroom and wash my hands because he was mopping the area to the bathroom. I said sorry for walking on the wet floor. My gf informed me later that the manager and employee were talking bad about me while I was in there something like “couldn’t he see that you were mopping”. The place closes at 9. That dosn’t mean the place closes at 9 for The employees to leave at 9. Find another job if you can’t handle the food industry. A customer also came in around 8:52 and asked if the place was closed and the manager said “Yes we are closed” smh. Nobody wants to do thier job these days. Last time we were in this place there was a physical fight between employees and the cops were called. This place is pathetic and you should not give them your money.

The food is pretty good. The cashier I see normally is very chill and nice. Today though the lady that brought our food to the patio was nice when she brought the food. She went back and grabbed us drinks and napkins although I was going to get my own napkins when she came out. My complaint with her though is when I walked back in to go to the counter she was telling her co workers how I had her walk back and forth 4 or 5 times and I was back at the counter. I was at the counter because there was no avocado on my sandwich which clearly should have been on there since it was on the menu. If someone would have said hey the avocado isn’t ripe so it’s not on there, I wouldn’t be at the counter. Customers shouldn’t hear you complaining about doing your job. It’s unprofessional. Then she stopped when she saw me look at her lying.

Food was fine. Service sucked! Old lady at front went out of her way to ignore several parties. Young guy seemed to follow her lead and ignore all of us. McA’s used to be so good food and service. Not anymore. Thankfully there are options in Pooler.
