When I arrived I stood at the take out/pick up register for about 10 min (after 5 min, I grabbed my own take-out bag) & had to yell to an employee in order to get service (too busy not paying attention to anything). When I got to my destination & opened my sandwich, it was a joke. How hard is it to make a sandwich correctly? You didn’t even have to take my order. All you had to do was READ IT! Was supposed to be gf Memphian w/spinach, spring mix, red onions, black olives, extra mayo, NO MUSTARD w/a pickle & cucumber & tomato salad. What I got was the Memphian (gf) w/stale bread (one side was an END, WHAT RESTAURANT SERVES AN END ON AN ALMOST $14 SANDWHICH?!!?), 2 olive slices, 4 spinach leaves, barely any spring mix, maybe 1 or 2 onions, NO MAYO AT ALL, W/MUSTARD I CANNOT EAT & NO PICKLE! So, for over $16 (thats w/tip) I only ate CUCUMBER SALAD! How hard is it for Management to do there jobs, yes Management bc it starts there! Try actually managing your employees, maybe then your businesses won’t fail & we the consumer won’t pay the price for your laziness, or is it incompetence?! Mcalister’s used to be decent, if I could eat Subway, its probably a better option than this store…at least the breads probably fresh & you will definitely get a better meal!

Females at register was rude. Thrown her hands up at us when we did not take the table, she was offering to clean for us, which was down the main aisle of travel and us with a baby. Meat on sandwiches look in the middle of the sandwich. Female at register was disrespectful to her coworkers. Calling them out in front of everyone in the restaurant. Told the guy can you quit talking and couldn’t help me. Forgot to bring us our drink. Forgot to give butter for a baked potato. I went to get some butter. Female at register took her forever to ask me what I needed. When I told her she gave me two handfuls of butter and said heres your butter rudely hate you. My wife went to get a to go box and took forever to get it. Finally, the manager gave her a box, and the manager was allowing the female at the register to act this way. There’s no way he could not hear the way he was talking. If I were to go back there and this female was working, I would leave. I hope everyone else has a better experience than me.

Here’s the deal. I believe food ordered from restaurants for take out are made from the oldest products they have left. It is never as fresh and plentiful as what you get when you eat in because they don’t expect you to bring it back after you drive all the way home. With that being said, the 2 Southwest Chicken and Avocado salads we ordered for take out were a little less than satisfactory. There were parts of the greens which had browned and blackened. All 12 kernels of corn and the 6 black beans I found were fine. The little tiny container of dressing tasted good but after having to lick the lid it came in to try and compensate for the volume, it was still lacking. I have come to the conclusion, when ordering take out, it’s best to order it as in house, inspect it and ask for a to go box. This way you know what you’re getting before you leave and eliminates the disappointment when you get home.

Great salads!! So hard to find good salad in this area. I love the Southwest Chicken and Avocado. Grilled Chicken Salad is excellent too. The King Club sandwich actually has too much meat

I would avoid the McAlister’s Deli on Hwy 17 in North Myrtle Beach. This location obviously does not meet the cleanliness and service standards that I see at most McAlister’s. This is unfortunate, because I enjoy eating at McAlister’s Deli and this is my closest location. The last 3 times that I have eaten lunch at the restaurant, the dining area is filthy and much of the staff is simply standing behind the counter chatting and looking at their cell phones when I enter. The last time, I counted more than 10 tables that had food and trash remaining from the previous patrons. The trash cans were overflowing and there were few places to sit. Had there been a lot of people ordering and a rush, I may not have been surprised. However, no one was in line and the 2 people behind the counter were simply playing on there cell phones and chatting to each other. After this experience (2 time previous were similar), I have decided not to dine at this location until the manager can return the typical McAlister’s standards. Based on the dining room, I would assume the rest of the operation is in shambles as well.

My family and I eat here regularly and yesterday was the worst visit ever. I had a 20% code and military, but the system only accepted the 10%, not the 20%. The GM claimed he did not know what my code was for and couldn’t correct it. Just delete the transaction and start over with only the 20%, but he didn’t. No accommodation whatsoever – customer service skills ZERO.

Love the New Yorker sandwich! Be sure ask Jamie to fix your iced tea. I get half-sweet and half-unsweet with lemon slices. She fixes it perfectly! Watch out for the pickle though, they put one on my plate that looked like had spent the day sunbathing on the beach. I asked for another pickle that didn’t looked so wo’ out; the cook gave me 3 excellent replacements. Thanks bud.

Nice facility except the bathrooms were awful. Asked for no olives on my potato and got no olives and no sour cream. Asked for Salted Chips with my club sandwich. No chips. Had to go ask for them and they acted like I had 3 heads. This was after the food was delivered and I had to ask for the Brookie that they forgot. No way was I gonna ask for sour cream at this point! Daughter asked for no pickle on her sandwich. Guess what? Yep, pickle. Little things like this hurt an otherwise good place. Too bad. Don’t recommend.

I have been disappointed lately. Food is fine, but the restaurant generally is not clean….that suggests the kitchen may not be either. The section by booths has a very bad smell, like urine. I will consider other places before I come here. I live locally and have frequented this location. I am sorry.
