It was a Sunday after church services when my daughter and I went for lunch here. The restaurant was almost filled to capacity. We had the buffet…which was almost empty of any food. The staff was way behind on keeping the buffet stocked. People were waiting in line for more pizza to be brought out. So we had a salad as we waited for the pizza….btw the dressing is excellent. As soon as the staff brought out more pizza…it was snatched up leaving the buffet empty again. It is a good place to grab a pizza but I think we would have done better to either go thru the drive thru or called an order in ahead of time.

They were hateful and rude. Asked what specials they had and the girl just pointed at wall. Asked about special they had outside on window and she slammed down a paper. Asked why there was a nocash charge on my receipt and she said they charge 3% for card. Was not aware they did that because the Mazzios in Tahlequah doesn’t charge that fee! Need training in better customer service!

They have an endless salad bar option for $6.50, but there is not much on the salad bar. They only have two dressing options, Ranch and Creamy Italian. There are zero light options, I asked if they have the Mazzio’s Light Ranch in packets and was told no. The salad bar only had cucumber and tomato available as part of the lettuce mix. In a huge mix I picked through and was able to find two cherry tomatoes and one cucumber slice. Very disappointing.

Went on a Sunday for lunch at work around 1 p.m. they were plum full, I’m guessing from Sunday service. Which was not at all my complaint. My issue was we were eating salad and sides as there was not enough pizza to keep up with demand. A pizza would show up and immediately be gone. We were feeling bad about grabbing slices of pizza as others would be without. And this is no kinda of way for a buffet to be.

Staff was very nice, efficient, accommodating – e.g. educated us about the best deal (current offer) that matched what we wanted to order. Our food came out quickly and as ordered. The restaurant was clean, too. Also, in my opinion a big highlight, the salad bar was clean, well stocked, fresh, and delicious! I refer to this as a “big highlight” because during the past several years any Mazzio’s around Tulsa has had a disappointing if not sometimes laughable salad bar experience… used to be a staple at Mazzio’s but hard to find a decent offering these days. Anyway, small town friendly and great service at this location! Thank you 🙂
