First time visiting this location. I was actually picking up a door dash order. It was really neat. It was like a little Mexican store. So many things you can purchase, and even purchase ingredients to make things at home. You can order take out. The food smelled delish. Definitely will be trying soon.

My family had the best lunch from the Madison location today. I had chicken tacos and two others had chicken enchiladas. All forms of chicken were amazing, as was the salsa roja, and fresh cotija cheese. Even the white rice served with the enchiladas was amazing. We will be back!

Mazunte catered our wedding reception in October 2021 and did an absolutely fantastic job. They arrived with plenty of time to set up (the buffet looked awesome) and did an excellent job managing the buffet. The catering team was so incredibly sweet on the day of, and were really easy to work with leading up to the event. Most importantly, the food was excellent and there was more than enough for people to go back for seconds and thirds. Not impressed. Ordered on doordash. Food was ice cold. The fish tacos were smaller than expected, they are street taco size and tortillas were soggy. The guacamole had an off putting smell to it and had way too much lemon juice in it, the guac and salsa came in plastic containers like u buy in the store and I’m pretty sure it’s sold in Kroger. The chips are basically round tortillas fried crispy and not broken up into chips. This makes it difficult for dipping. The rice is white rice, not Mexican rice, and it was hard. Huge waste of money. Will not order here again!

There are two sites, this is where delivery and pick up seems to come from. The restaurant is down the road toward Red Bank. The food was fairly good, as I am typically used to, especially the memelitas. I had wanted horchata, but did not get it. Instead I received a Jamaica, which was alright.

I absolutely love Mazunte. Best place for tacos in the area hands down. I saw it was taco week and I couldn’t decide if I wanted chicken or chorizo tacos. So I ended up ordering both. The only thing better than the food is how friendly the staff always is. If you can eat at the restaurant I recommend it for the full experience. Great anytime of the day and consistently delicious high quality food.
