Absolutely delicious. The chips are addictive. This place has nailed chicken. Quesadillas are the best.

honestly… the whole experience was a lot. our waiter was AMAZING (jesus?) but the food was absolutely horrible. the beans and rice were room temp at best, my nachos mazatlan had burned cheese on it, along with the chicken being dry as a bone. the salsa was so runny it wasn’t great… the “mild” salsa looked like tomato juice tbh. it’s at no fault of the waiter but the food sucked. make the drive to Depoe Bay or Newport if you want Mazatlan.

Everything was really good, from the warm crispy chips and tasty salsa to the rice, refried beans, to the chicken fajitas. Great service. Very pretty Mexican decor, live plants. Would definitely go again when I visit here.

This place was awful. Being unable to find decent Mexican food anywhere in the PNW, our craving for Mexican food drew us to attempt another restaurant. We ordered fajitas via door dash figuring no one could possible mess that up. I was wrong. What I received was more like pepper steak than fajitas. Small bites of meat with peppers and onions, mushrooms and a few other unidentified veggies laying in a pool of some type of tomato sauce. The chips were delicious, however the salsa had the consistency of V8 juice. I give up on getting quality Mexican food in this area. Here’s a photo of the leftovers.

Met a couple of friends here for lunch so it was my first time at the restaurant. I don’t come to McMinnville that often but after having lunch here today I’m definitely adding it to my list of places to eat when I’m in town.

Another example of Google reviews being Wayyy off. Mazatlans used to be decent food. They may all be different, but I wouldn’t recommend this one. The food was very low quality. The salsa is like tomato water with no chunks or flavor, the mole is overly sweet, the service was less than average and it wasn’t busy and the prices are higher $15 per person for Taco Bell quality food. There are better restaurants–not sure about the area, I never come to McMinnville, but at least in the metro.

The food was absolutely delicious; the service was excellent. I’m not from the area, I ate at a place that looked well-established. I’m so glad I did! I would go back to Mazatlan any day. I wish I could!

First time visiting this gem recommended by Google maps as a local favorite. So finding the entrance was a bit confusing; since the parking lot is in the back of the restaurant and the entrance is facing the road. The entrance has a hallway before entering with lots of Windows and 2 doors for exiting and entering. Once inside the check in is arms reach and 2 ladies ready serve. They asked us if we prefer to seat in the booth or table area. We preferred the booth area since we were a family of 5. Restaurant’s carpeted flooring looked vacuumed, tables were clean and wiped down, And all utensils were washed. They served us a large bowl of unsalted chips and 2 mini red tomato salsas to compliment. We got up and headed toward the restrooms and found they provided 2 stalls for both men and women. Both restrooms were stocked up with toilet up, soap, and overall clean stalls and floors. Even though the men’s restroom was undergoing a bit of remodeling (09/16/20). The menus were filled with pictures and easy to understand lists with whole number prices for each dish. Our waitress was very attentive and always checking up on us making sure we needed anything. All dishes were definitely worth the price; being served in very large proportions and hot. Most of the staff were bilingual (Spanish/English) and their manager their was exceptional! Great guy and down to earth. If your into horchata, I highly recommend you try it out here. In total we spent about an hour and half here with a price tag of $90. Not bad for a great time spent with family and food. We come again.

Had a great time the food was excellent the price point is right on and very reasonable for the cuisine that they serve.
