Happy we found another authentic Mongolian restaurant near Chicago. The folx at Mazalae serve up the great hospitality and food Mongolians are known for. The milk tea was hot, tsuivan was just what we were hoping for, and the staff and customers were very welcoming. баярлалаа!

Great place with home style hospitality. The menu had a great selection of meat and bread-based dishes that were authentic to real Mongolian cuisine, straight from Mongolia itself – not a fusion of other cuisines.

Food made to order, it was amazing. The food takes time to prepare but it is well worth waiting for. The owners were very welcoming, they realized it was our first time there and took time to explain the menu and food. I will definitely be back and try some more of their amazing food.

As a Mongolian from Minnesota I approve this restaurant. Every dish is great, especially the steamed dumplings(buzz), fried dumplings(khuushuur), the meatball soup(khuicaa), UB potato salad, hand pulled noodle dish (tsuivan). As a desert get the Mongolian milk curds. Complimentary milk tea!

The service was very friendly, and the portions are quite big and reasonable. The Mongolian beef was a bit on the dry side but it came out well prepared. Their mini salad dish was amazing and they gave me the Mongolian milk tea for free on the side

I think this was my first time ever trying a Mongolian restaurant and it was great! Did a take out for goulash and the milk tea dumpling soup (I was very curious about the milk tea soup). Personally enjoyed the dumplings more than the goulash. The owners are very kind too.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality by the friendly staff. The decor of the restaurant was also very traditional and added to the overall experience. The menu had a variety of dishes, ranging from the classic Mongolian beef to more exotic dishes like buuz (steamed dumplings) and khuushuur (deep-fried pastries filled with meat).
