The staff was very nice, helpful and friendly. We were seated promptly and the orders were taken quickly. The food arrived in a very reasonable amount of time. The food was fresh and hot. Very tasty and everything was good. I’m looking forward to going back.

I have given this place 3 tries and I was hopeful that each time would be better. The last straw was my last visit 8-19-23. The waitress was nice, the food was good except they sent me a ROTTEN baked potato. Evidently they had issues with their supplier sending them bad potatoes. Imo they should have opened the potato before serving to ensure it was ok. In addition to that, it seems they don’t refrigerate their cocktail sauce or ketchup because they were both brown…not red. These are legitimate food safety concerns and need to be addressed promptly.

This is the real deal! The Mayflower we grew to love through the years. We ordered a three item combo plate and split it two ways and still had a full tray to bring home. Very CLEAN and new decor. Great service during these trying times. The tea. Hmmmm I think they need a better water filter. But other than that, and I’m a Chef and very picky, it was a 5 stars for me.

The food was awful, it all looked fairly good, but was old and dry, scallops were not scallops, not sure what they were but just awful with paprika on it, the fish and crab were so nasty tasting, the only good thing we liked was the cooked shrimp, and the hush puppies, but the staff were very pleasant, and it was ckean…i just think you need a different cook, one that knows seafood, im a fisherman,, and it was not fresh by any means,, just awful im sorry to say…we both were sick all night..we will not go back again..

We had a party of 5 and went a little bit after 3, so there were plenty of places to sit. The restaurant was clean, and the server was very helpful. The food was prepared as ordered.

This was my very first experience at the Mayflower, I must say wholeheartedly will say I’m going back!!! The food was delicious, every single staff member spoke to us and made sure we had any and everything we needed and I also will say the bathrooms were well stocked and super clean and actually smelled good. My sister is fully paralyzed except her right arm and hand. She has had both of her legs removed and is in a wheelchair ♿️. We don’t get out much. But she was even comfortable and happy there. (Has never happened) I feel Like all of your staff members who work at this location deserve some kind of bonus or raise. I definitely tipped our Waitress pretty good I wish I could have done more. Also I want to mention the prices of everything, they are pretty decent and definitely worth it especially when you’re on a fixed income as myself. Blessings to everyone who reads this, and I pray your experience is as amazing as ours was.

We stopped at the Mayflower for a quick lunch. They have lunch specials there. When we arrived, the place was pretty empty. We got seated quickly. The wife and I both started with the New England clam chowder. We were expecting a cup of soup but we got bowls. Nice sized ones. The soup was had great flavor and big hunks of clam. The only complaint there was the soup was warm. Thats OK though. It was still good. The wife got a burger and fries. She was happy with it. She took half home. I got the popcorn shrimp and chicken tenders combo. It came with fries, slaw and pups. It was all quite good. I took half of mine home as well. It was the biggest lunch special I’ve ever had! The place itself is clean and in good repair. The staff was super friendly. Will totally go back.
