It is still a GREAT Mexican restaurant!! This is the 2nd visit, my husband and I stopped here for lunch, on the way to Rockport again while on vacation. The atmosphere is really nice. Their employees are very friendly and attentive. And the food is absolutely delicious. Overall it was a wonderful dining experience. We both enjoyed it tremendously. We might even stop by here again on the way back home. Thank you so much!

We have been wanting to try this restaurant. The reviews were good so we got a chance to stop on 7/15. We were SO DISAPPOINTED! The food was HORRIBLE! The quality of the food was awful. It tasted like canned food. The salsa was watered down. I DO NOT recommend.

Wow great food and very decorated! Loved looking at the art. Fajitas were good the Charro beans were great. The enchiladas were bigger. Loved these authentic flavors.

Wow! Really excellent food! We had the Jalapeño Chicken, Spinach and Chicken Enchiladas and Pastor Enchiladas. All of it was great. We also loved their rice. It had so much flavor. We will be back often!

I had memories of Maya being 5 stars, not so much this last visit. It was still good, but not quite as good as before. And several of our orders were not correct. It was a holiday weekend so maybe the regular employees were not there.

Mayan Restaurant is open for dining. They quickly arranged for social distancing dining with staff wearing masks. Had the beef taco salad and beef fajita nachos. Was delicious. It was great getting out and experiencing refills on tea, chips, and salsa again. Topped it off with some sopapillas. Nice, friendly staff. Really missed the dining experience, thanks Mayan for opening the dining so quickly.
