We had the table-side guacamole, two rib eye tacos and two margaritas. Everything was delicious service and atmosphere is great. Salsa is not what I am used to be was very good. Try it out for yourself I think you be happy with the quality of the food and general restaurant experience.

Giving this 2 stars and happy to revise in future of things get better, because I’m really holding out and want to give this place a chance. We were so excited to have a Mexican place in this neighborhood, but oh my, the food so far is…not good. Pictured here is the Mole Chicken– sauce was super thin and not recognizable as any mole we’ve ever had. Just chicken breast in a thin sauce. The rest of what we ordered (including enchiladas–oddly stuffed with unmeltable chunks of cotija cheese) were also lacking the kind of basic lime/tomato/cilantro freshness of Mexican food. Such a bummer, but let’s hope they’re getting their bearings. We got takeout so we still have hope for some great margs in-house, if we decide to try again.

We liked the food and it was busy when we visited so we had to wait for a table but whilst we sat at the bar for 6 minutes no one attended to us which was a shame as my wife wanted to try the tequilas but.. once we got to our table the service was much better and we had a very friendly waiter who suggested a few things for dinner that worked well.

Was excited to try a new place. Margaritas had little to no alcohol in them. Table side guacamole was pretty good. But my dish wasn’t cooked (chicken) and it had more cranberries than uncooked chicken. Sent it back and asked for a specific soup. I spoke with the host, who clearly did not let his waiter know I had sent my meal back and asked for this soup instead. The waiter didn’t care that my chicken wasn’t cooked. Had to wait for the soup, and just when we gave up, sone weird corn based soup showed up. It looked horrible. The person delivering it didn’t understand when I said that this isn’t what I ordered. I left while my husband talked to the waiter. Not returning. Horrible experience

My kids had the quesadillas and I had (the worse) cochinita pibil, so dry I couldn’t eat it, was all terrible! My husband made an effort to enjoy his beef, but it just wasn’t possible, besides the guacamole nothing was really worth the visit, even the service needs improvement. I do appreciate that the cook came out to apologize… good luck!
