I was staying at Hotel 8 and saw this place from my room. Checked the reviews and decided to try. It was worth it. Very delicious Philly omelette and large portions. Definitely will be back every time I stay at this hotel next door.

Went here for the first time for a polish and fries… the man behind the counter was not friendly at all. I received my food and went home to taste… the polish was overcooked and dry and the bread would choke you to death! $8+… 18th street downtown is hands down the best! I hate I wasted my money here… WOW! To the trash it all went!

Best Philly cheese steak I’ve had so far in my life. I will now be a regular. The guy at the counter needs to learn how to say orders more clear but still great food so the other shananagans didn’t matter.

The food was ok, but I go to a Maxwell Street Restaurant to get Maxwell Street food. Maybe I’m getting older and the days of Jewtown are long gone…but there are still people like me that want the traditional way. With that said, this place disappointed. My wife got a polish…which wasn’t grilled, didn’t have grilled onions, and came on a weird bun. I ordered a burger expecting it Maxwell Street style. I had to actually tell them to grill my onions and put mustard, etc.

would never eat here again! Mexican guy at the register is very rude and then after I made a mistake and did not ask for a combo, which includes a drink, I was ok with buying the drink separately. This jerk proceeded to tell me I have spend at least five dollars!!! I eas like excuse me, I just spent fifteen on a meal and nownI buy a soda unless I spent five dollars? Money hungry Mexicans and the food is not all that good – DEFINITELY NOT Maxwell Street style – I’m from Chicago and that place is no where near the original.Jew Town polish sausages – a fraud!

I ordered a beef polish deep FRIED with cheese (which I highly recommend). First off the sausage is damn near a footlong. When I got back to my hotel across the street to eat the sausage was cold af. Fries were piping hot though and really good.

It okay if you want a authentic Maxwell street polish go to the one in Calumet park way better. And probably cheaper.
