If I could give this place 10 stars I would! Amazing place & delicious food. Amanda was so nice and helpful! First time coming here last night with my husband and we had such a good time and we loved the music that was played as well. Such a relaxing atmosphere.

First time at Max’s was great. Our server, Eleanor, was excellent and very courteous. The hot pretzel appetizer was delicious. The food, beer and simple cocktails were all quite tasty. Prices were decent when compared to other restaurants we have eaten. Would recommend.

Very nice cozy place. The staff were also super nice. The burger price is reasonable (even cheaper than you expect with this quality). The wait time is a bit long but considering the nice atmosphere, its not all that annoying. Also considering the absolutely FANTASTIC quality of the burgers its well worth it. All in all great place I definitely recommend it.

The clam chowder was good, but ordered fish and chips and the fish was rubbery and fries were soggy in oil, not crisp.

Fries and wings were decent, but the burger my son got was way over cooked and dried out he didn’t eat it. Told the girl but still got charged. Stuffed quahog was dry and not very flavorful, not sure if they’re made in house or not. Oh well, probably won’t be back.

“Medium” cooked burger was raw, fries seemed like they were leftover and reheated, expensive. I’m not sure why I’ve given them so many chances, as I’ve never had a great experience. I guess this will be my last.
