Stopped in prior to the Lumberjack show across the street. Self seated and soon warm chips and salsa were at the table.

Get a skinny spicy margarita with splash of pomegranate mmm tangy spicy and pretty strong. I ordered the shrimp Fresca bowl and I added chicken to it , seemed fresh healthy and delicious. The sauce was very tasty I would definitely order this dish again . This restaurant is pricey though our bill with 2 cocktails and 2. Entrees and side of queso /guac $96 way too high!! I’ve never understood why so pricey maybe it’s because it’s Johns Creek area ‍♀️ this is close to work and I would go more if was a bit cheaper but overall good food .

Always great Cali Mex from the start. Had not been in a couple. Original owners in the pic on the surf board no longer there. The tradition continues. Great staff, food, and drinks.

Excellent service! The strawberry margarita and wicked dolphin cocktails were delicious and strong but small for the price. The Mexican corn was AMAZING!! The fish tacos were slightly dry and not as fresh as it could of been. The chips and salsa were great! The chairs are not the most comfortable especially if someone is bigger. We would definitely come back

I’ve been here a few times, and although not the cheapest, I’ve always come back due to chips, margaritas, and spicy chicken tacos. Never left a review bc service was never bad, but just wasn’t great. Leaving a review now bc KAREEM provided phenomenal service! Very attentive. Very kind and polite. Always made sure I was taken care of. AAA++ service. So now I’ll add that I come back to Mavericks bc of Kareem too. Ask for him! He’s great!

This little spot is a great place to go. We just randomly past by it and checked reviews and decided to try it. We was glad we did. The service was amazing and the food came out so fast and it was flavorful. Worth the try.

My all time favorite Restaurant for tacos. I have not gotten anything else from here. They NEVER disappoint. I have only gotten the steak tacos from, I just can’t bring myself to change it. But I have tried the two different kinds. The meat is always so tender and flavorful!

I was debating if to give 4 or 5 stars, but Pierce our server was so Great so had to give it 5 stars. Good food – steak Taco was nice, toughe over cooked a bit, chicken faiths was very tasty ( could have less oil) , kitchen was busy but overall experience was good ( thanks to pierce)Nice music and fun to be in, we sat outside and loved it. Support local business!

A few interesting vegetarian items but not too many

Contemporary Mexican cuisine. Small place and could get crowded but the service team at the front was very helpful. The actual service at the table was disappointing though and seemed like they did not care much.
