I wish I knew the employees’ name. However, every time I go through the drive-thru of of this place he’s always got a big smile and is happy. They also always make great food. Above and beyond. The staff and the (right) food here is always great.

I love the bbq sandwich. The chicken tenders are fantastic b/c they make them when you order them and they don’t appear to be frozen from a bag. They taste fresh. The staff is great. I am not a fan of the ribs.

The worst of all Maurice’s is Red Bank. Their food is NOT like their other restaurants. The employees serve garbage, not fit to eat. Do yourself a favor and drive to Cayce – better yet, visit Bessingers or Melvins in Charleston (The other Bessingers brothers. Their food is off the chart better than Maurice’s!

They tricked me!!! Ordered through DoorDash. It was called Hickory Hall’s BBQ & listed as “New Places”. Had I known this was actually Maurice’s I NEVER would have ordered. Sadly, I had no clue until the food came & was in containers with Maurice’s logo. The $11+ “BBQ Chicken” (1/4lb) were paltry chunks of luke-warm chicken leftovers, not even an actual piece of chicken, with BBQ sauce drizzled on top. The $5 onion rings were 4 crunchy bread rings that had never seen a real onion slice. I’ll admit the baked beans were good & even warm. The cole slaw wasn’t bad either. But I certainly didn’t get my money’s worth. And I’m mad that I was duped into purchasing from Maurice, something I decided I’d wouldn’t (consciously) do for ethical reasons.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean restaurant. I had the large Brisket Sandwich combo with fries and slaw and my wife had the Chili Dog combo with sweet potato fries and slaw. Try their Lemonade! Food was excellent.

Not gonna lie, I have avoided this location for years. After their remodel I decided to give it a try. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and the food is always good and fresh. Big Joe basket, fries and slaw. Always great!
