I was disappointed to say the least. I’ve been familiar with the name my whole life, so I must have put them in a higher class based on the opinions of others. I had ordered two of their Chicken Cordon Bleu meals, which have no special accompanying description to tell you that it is not the cordon bleu you ate and are picturing in your head right now. So you could imagine my confusion when I opened the box to find chicken parmesan with a piece of prosciutto(?) tossed between one of the pieces of chicken. When I called they told me “that’s our cordon bleu, thats how we make them.”

Waitress was friendly and attentive. Drinks had limited availability (no ice tea?) have eaten here in past and must say that it has gone done hill. Bread was stale, anti pasta was just ok. I ordered manicotti which was nothing more than two lasagna noodles with cheese in middle with red sauce over top. Looked like it had been premade and warmed in microwave because the sauce was burned around edges. I do not recommend this restaurant.

The wait here isn’t too bad unless you’re starving. Apps r delish. Drinks r good. $$ Entree is always fabulous. To name some dishes is impossible however ask if you don’t know what it is. Waitress we had was adorable n VERY helpful last Saturday..make reservations by calling the reservation phone number, not the restaurant number. The stuffed mushrooms were to die for. Bruschetta, not so much.

Been coming to Mattuci’s my entire life for great food & service, but that came to a screeching halt last night. Aside from the food being disappointing (some meals were uncooked, some were served cold, some made it to table well after others had eaten, some soups not served at all), the treatment by the woman in charge was our last straw. Our server honestly did her best and our large group pulled together a tip well over 20%, only to be interrupted by this woman delivering the “correct bill” with, as she told us, “20% automatically” added onto our bill. Gut reaction: no problem, we had that covered. But the bill she delivered had a 25% gratuity and when we asked about it we were introduced to new gratuity math and were told: “Since you had 2 tables of 10 people, at 20% each, your tip should be 40%”! She proceeded to scold us because her server was a volunteer (?). Sorry to say, her arrogance brings an end to our family’s long relationship with Mattuci’s

Was in for a pizza last Friday, the 1st. I liked the pizza just fine, I guess. My dad used to take us there in the 70s. Wow this place has gone down hill. There was a broken beer bottle smashed on the sidewalk , two employees out smoking just ignored it. Very disappointed, won’t be back.

The French Onion soup my husband and I had, had absolutely no taste and the onions in it was hard. My husband orderd the chicken catchattorie and it came out with white sauce when he ordered red. The pizza we ordered to take home with us was horrible. It tasted like a pizza made from a box versus homemade pizza dough. No flavor whatsoever. Won’t be back any time soon.

I went for the first time last Saturday, only to find out they were closed! There was nothing on here showing that they were closed (for vacation) and nothing on the doors! Not good!!

Our reservations were for 6pm. When you walk in, you’re faced with a wall. Several servers walked past us, and we were unsure if we used the correct door. There was no sign saying, “Please wait to be seated.”. We asked a girl working in the bar if we were in the correct area and she told us we were. Finally got sat at our reserved table and sat there with no silverware for 15 minutes. When the waitress came over, she gave us bread and plates. (No silverware to spread the butter and no drinks yet). She came back 10 minutes later to get drink order: 4 waters, 2 cokes, 2 blood marys). I told her we had no silverware and she didn’t hear me because she wouldn’t make eye contact and stayed at the table for 5 seconds at a time. She came back to tell us no blood marys because they dont have the mix as she dropped off the waters and sodas. Ok. So we ordered 2 cokes in place of Bloody Marys. While she was at the table she asked if we were ready to order. We said yes, but we needed a few minutes. She came back with the cokes, dropped them off and then went to the table across from us to run their credit card. They had been waiting for at least 20 minutes to leave. She finally came back to get the order. 30 minutes later we got our food piece meal from someone not dressed in uniform. The table behind us got there 30 minutes after and had eaten, paod and were gone before we got our check. When we asked her if we could get one slice of apple pie she responded, “If we have any”. Then when she came back after clearing only a few dirty plates amd to give us boxes, we asked for the check. We told her in the beginning it was 2 checks. She told us since we didn’t tell her at the start we couldn’t do it and out one check on the table. It was so loud in there that when I told her we told her right away she said, ” Don’t yell at me!” And them magically she was able to split the check. SERVICE WAS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!! The food was good except for the soups. They were WAY too salty. Wont ever be back.
