Nice cozy Italian spot in Clifton. The guy at the front door is super cool and makes sure you’re good if there’s a wait. Food is good. Wish the drinks and bartender experience was a lil nicer/better.

I was greeted by the owner Matthew when I entered the restaurant. He was very engaging and knew the folks that recommended I try his restaurant out. The bar is very small, only seats 3 and they have 4 high tops in the bar area that seat two. It was a 1/2 hour wait for me but did not mind waiting being I was parked illegally so I waited for a space to open up. Parking is very limited and I saw folks parking in the pizza and bagel store lot and walking over to the restaurant. Matthew called me on my phone to let me know a seat at the bar opened up. The bar tender named Kara took my drink and dinner order. I ordered the caprese salad and the cavatelli and broccoli. All was cooked and prepared properly. Food was quite good that I will definitely return to try other dishes. My only disappointment was I wish Kara was more engaging at the bar and when food was served it would of been nice for her to check to see if everything was OK. Granted Kara was busy but had some down time that she could of checked on the customers at the bar. Overall, food did not disappoint and it was nice that Matthew came outside to thank me for stopping in. I told him I will definitely return.

Lovely quaint Italian restaurant with delicious fresh food. If you are looking for a homey, cozy feeling then this is your spot. Everything we ordered was delicious! You won’t regret the chicken parm and scallops with lemon wine sauce…out of this world! The staff is friendly and seem very close almost like a family, Matthew even stopped by our table to say hello. A very pleasant experience overall.

Waitress was awesome, but the food was not what I expected. Not bad, but also not what I thought it would be. The meatball and ricotta app was too dry and over cooked. The raw clams were good. I ordered the scungilli dish, and it was a small portion and not necessarily what I expected.

It was my first time hosting a family group. Matthew and his team were attentive to my plan. Greeted warmly at the door, we had a lovely table in this cozy in a warm, homey and comfortable good way quaint charming restaurant. The service was excellent. The food was as good as Italian gets. Amazing. My family are connesoirs of Italian food, and they loved it! We had the best time. Matthew and his team helped me host successfully! I was so happy and appreciative. I love this special spot. I highly 100 percent recommend it. The prices are incredibly reasonable for a five-star experience!
