Matteo’s is tucked away in the shopping center on 86 and ditch. The prices are extremely reasonable, and the food was yummy! Their menu has you thinking “ah it all looks so good!!”

Wait to be helped once we were seated was long, but the appetizer and main course were exceptional. The old fashioned was far too sweet for my taste, and the desserts were lackluster. But overall it was a good dining experience and I’d recommend people giving them a try.

Had lunch with some co-workers today. Food was great and prices were reasonable given the large portions. Good atmosphere and service, overall it exceeded my expectations. My taste buds were very happy and I left stuffed. Highly recommend.

Was there on Tuesday at 5:00 pm, Jan 9. First time visit. We were greeted warmly and seated promptly. Our server was very attentive. Warm crusty bread with not-spicy olive oil arrived. I ordered veal marsala and he ordered chicken piccata. Neither were on the menu, but we just asked that they swap the sauce – no problem. Our dishes were delicious. They had a large party in a private room that did not interfere with our service. The only bad part – not one other diner in the dining room. People, you have to go there for the awesome food and to keep them open! We will definitely return. It’s on the fav list now.

My husband and I found this place after our other plans fell through and the reviews looked very promising. Unfortunately, we were very unimpressed. Our server was barely attentive, despite the fact that the restaurant was not overly busy. The bread was bland and flavorless, but we were hoping the food would make up for it with the prices being what they were. Alas, we were again unimpressed. The serving size is laughable for the price, and the sauces tasted like they came from a jar. We ordered a “kids” pizza for our son, and it was the same amount of food as my husband got on his plate. The food wasn’t bad, but it certainly isn’t worth what they charge. Money better spent at Olive Garden or Buca di Beppo.

I absolutely love Matteo’s! I’m surprised that they have bad reviews my fiancee & I have been 3 times each time was very pleasant.The food was hot & delicious,it was peaceful and quiet,service was great.My favorite meal is the Pollo Quattro I could eat that literally everyday
