Seen there Coney dog while watching the Coney Bros on Youtube. First time here and glad I made the trip out. Take out with some Park benches to eat at. Really enjoyed the Italian beef and Coney Dog. They use Vienna beef which is one of the best. The spicy peppers on the Italian beef are spicy so heads up. Really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.

I had the italian beef, and it was just about there. The only thing that held it back was the most important thing. The meat. The meat on my sandwich was overcooked and dry. It was delicious how they combine the hot giardiniera and mild giardiniera. I want that fresh strip of sweet pepper on mine from now on. You can taste the italian seasoning in au jus. I ordered some on the side. Delicious.

I am very disappointed and will never go back. I have eaten here before and the Chicago dogs and beef are actually athentic (however that means nothing if pooly cooked), which is only reason I gave a 2 instead of a single star.

This is a cute little walk up restaurant and is great for a nice day! The food tasted good. We both got Chicago dogs. The only negative was that it took a while to get our food but when we did, it was well worth it!

Inspired by watching The Bear on Hulu I decided to seek out an Italian beef sandwich near by. Matt & Mo’s shares space with an ice cream shop in Hazel Park. The walk up window attendant was very nice and helpful answering all my questions. I ordered the Italian beef with hot & sweet peppers, dipped. I also ordered a side of fries with the honey sriracha & 1000 Island dipping sauce. It was a very good meal. The one thing I noticed about the Sando was the meat was a bit dry even though it was dipped. I did use some of the dipping sauce on the Sando and it was pretty good. I would go and try it again for sure. The peppers were good with the dipped bread and meat.

The place is amazing. Whenever we are around, we try to go out of our way to get here!!! All the guys from work, family, and friends go out of their way to get to Matt and Mos. The food is the best you’ll taste!!! Keeps us coming back. Always greeted with a smile!!!! Between the food and the ice cream, you guys have us hooked. Thank you for making our days go by better knowing Matt and Mos is right down the road, lol.

Incredible Italian beef. Exceptional service. This place is a gem. The food is always excellent. The sandwiches are big but don’t skip the ice cream sandwiches for dessert – the chocolate chip cookies are wonderful!
