We visited Matsu on our long drive up to SF for lunch. Given the 4.5 stars, I had thought we had discovered a local gem given the pics and the size of the joint. Unfortunately, it was a pretty big disappointment and would’ve been 2 stars had it not been for the cheaper prices (although not too cheap) and the friendly server.

Seriously the best sushi my wife and I ever had. My wife is pregnant so she couldn’t have the raw fish sushi, and we are happy to report that there are so many options for her to eat even while pregnant, and everything we tried was so amazing. We live a 40 minute drive away (in no traffic), and we will definitely make the trek to Matsu Sushi now that we discovered this amazing place. The food is so worth it!
