Great little place right on First street in Fort Myers. Lobster Rolls are filled to over flowing (Lobster was literally falling out of the bun).

My wife and I went here on May 20, 2023. She got the Connecticut lobster roll. I got the traditional lobster roll. Both are very good. We also got the clam chowder which was unfortunately sour and had gone bad.

The lobster rolls were amazing. It felt like I was back up in Maine eating on the docks! And the lobster bisque and clam chowder were delicious. As a bonus, Del’s Lemonade Shandy to drink. My first of MANY future visits!

My wife and I visited Mason’s Famous Lobster a few weeks back for lunch on a Sunday and were delighted by the food options. We ordered original lobster rolls and the lobster mac n’ cheese. Portion size was enough for both of us. High-quality lobster meat. Fresh and tasty dishes.

Simply awesome. I could eat this every day! Get the potato salad, you won’t be disappointed!

Superb lobster roll, plenty of lobster meat, nice and light. I love the bread; nice and coated on the outside; simply delicious.

Amazing! Large chucks of fresh lobster, perfectly baked bread, and the seasoning was wonderful. The bread tastes like you’re dipping the lobster in melted butter. So good! Clam chowder was great.

I recently stopped by Mason’s as I was downtown and it was close to my meeting and a great parking space was a available for me to pop in. This was my first visit and the young man at the counter was very friendly and nicely explained the options available to me. Since it was a hot day I chose the cold salad lobster roll with coleslaw. My meal was prepared quickly, almost in the time it took for me to get my fountain drink. My lobster roll was fantastic, large chunks of meat, lightly dressed with a lovely refreshing lemony (but not too acidic) dressing. The bread was soft and perfectly toasted. It’s a good thing I took it to my office because if I’d been in the restaurant I would have ordered another, I can’t tell you my disappointment when I finished the last bite and I had no more left. The coleslaw was good, I like a bit more vinegar in mine but it was nice and creamy. The spear of pickle was extremely tasty with a garlic kick, though a bit small. Overall it was an excellent lunch and I will definitely be a return diner.

We were on a road trip to Fort Myers and Naples looking for a Starbucks when we saw Mason’s Lobster restaurant next to it and decided to stop immediately. We ordered the Connecticut Lobster Rolls, which are the best Lobster rolls we have ever had!! Perfection! We took them to go. Looks like a very nice place with some indoor seating as well as outside seating. You have got to try these!
