Food had very little flavor. We got the sampler and the ribs, brisket, chicken, and pulled pork all had just the flavor of the base meat. It was really disappointing food-wise, and the sides you could tell came from canned goods and were also mediocre. Would recommend most other restaurants in southern Illinois over this one.

Smoked pork steak was way over cooked. Very leathery and though. Ribs were also very dry. The bbq sauces were awesome! The spicy one needs some chicken wings on the menu! Service was very good. Stay away from slow cooked meats if you’re used to juicy bbq.

It was ok, had the ribs and they were not my favorite they don’t remove the membrane on the back, but I guess some people like that. We got there about 12:30 right after they open and there was only one other couple there, but by the time we left there was a few more people show up.

What a fabulous experience!! The staff the atmosphere and food were all amazing!! Outside eating for the most part.. service was a little slow but in the current times the staff were very attentive regarding this issue and we were just enjoying ourselves!! Regular fare but it’s awesome!! In the middle of NOWHERE southern Illinois and we LOVED IT!! Would be 6 stars but for the slow delivery but you won’t regret it! and I’m about regretful that I’m telling you… What a treasure!! We’ll be back and with FRIENDS!!!

Food was really good and plentiful, service was not good at all. Wait person never returned after our food was delivered, had to go to the bar to get refills. Was charged an up charge for onion rings after being told there wouldn’t be. Then an unexplained extra $2.38 charge from the original receipt to the receipt after the card was ran. Probably will never return.

Had a good fried pickle appetizer and my wife and I both had burgers and fries for our meal. Everything was ok. Disappointed that our burgers were frozen pressed patties and not homemade. For the price, we were expecting homemade. Burgers were also underseasoned and quite bland. Fries could have been cooked a little more. They were soft and not crsipy at all. Nice place, friendly staff but not impressed with the food we had.
