LOVE this place! My husband and I go here often whether pickup or eat in. It’s a small place, not much seating but the lady there is SO sweet and the staff is really friendly too! This place made my like sushi. My favorite things to get are the spicy tuna crunch and gyoza. It is amazing!!! Highly recommend this place. Can’t get enough of it.

Humble establishment with great quality fish at affordable prices. We came in ay 2 pm and we had the place to ourselves. Nice staff. Got the sashimi combo, the Ono fish was the best. Happy I checked this out and will definitely be stopping by for lunches in the near future. Mostly take out but has 3 tables for dine in. Easy parking.

When walking in, another customer shouted out, they have the best sushi in the area. That’s how you know this place is good. The food here is delicious. Got the fish spring roll and tuna seaweed roll. Will definitely be back.

The sushi was good. The place is kind of cold though because of the winter time and they don’t have a heater really where the dining tables are. It’s pretty cold when someone walks through the door and you’re sitting at the tables. They don’t have a big variety of vegetable rolls though for people who do not eat meat or fish. But the staff is really nice and friendly.

I usually eat sushi because I like it. And I think this store is the best sushi restaurant I’ve ever had in Chicago. It is not the interior of an authentic Japanese restaurant. However, it has a better taste than traditional Japanese restaurants. Tuna, in particular, is thawed while maintaining its softness and savoryness that is good to eat. If you go here and eat tuna sushi, you will experience tuna melting in your mouth. This is a secret restaurant that only people who really know know know.

I lived in Buffalo Grove for 23 years, and never knew about this restaurant until a few days ago. At first I was hesitant to try, but rolled the dice and decided to go with my cousins. As we walked in, the owner greeted us with a big smile, and seeing all the photos on the wall.. I knew the owner had a big heart for their customers, extremely family oriented. I ordered the Japanese Curry, and my cousins tried their sushi and gyoza. Also the sushi clock decor, I love it!
