Stopped on road trip for lunch. Frito pie with red and green chili was outstanding and definitely a Ruby creation. Also excellent pulled pork sandwich and delicious peach cobbler, generously topped with ice cream and whipped cream.

Traveling and stopped in for a quick bite for lunch. We ordered a brisket wrap and cuban sandwich and it took a full hour to receive our food. I heard the microwave beeping behind me constantly so not sure why it took so long for reheated food. Should have gotten a cue when we saw a different table walk out.

I’ll tell you what, Miss Ruby knows how to THROW DOWN in the kitchen. Do not miss her red and green chilis. Get the frito pie and ask for it Christmas style. Trust her judgement because it’s golden. Just about the best road trip stop I’ve taken in the US. Also, the peach cobbler is to die for.

Ruby makes a delicious Navajo taco, the red/green chili was amazing. Kind of in an inconspicuous spot, the door for the cafe is just on the side of a building, in the back of a gift shop. But the food was great and tasty!

I put 5 stars because I absolutely love the drink selection there. They have a nice selection of frozen drinks and I always enjoy the food. I haven’t tried anything that I didnt like. It’s a family owned business and They are very friendly. The dinning part is more to the back of the building. You enter from the side and it looks like a real back porch without the weather. I had the Reuben today which is usually my favorite but it was lacking on something today and the pickle looked like someone sucked on it….. Come on guys I know you can do better. It was late and they were starting to close so that’s understandable but a little disappointing to my tongue There is a gift shop in front with lots of cool items. She has a really good selection to choose from and she is good at putting baskets and bouquets together.

Love this local place! The chicken salad was so yummy and fresh! And the service was excellent. I love eating at quaint local eateries that cook their own food.

A great casual stop for a bite to eat in the back of a cute gift shop and everyone was super nice! We both had a salad, but everything sounded good. A good stop before or after visiting Clayton Lake State Park & Dinosaur Tracksite.

Great sandwiches, Mary and the other lady working there were very nice (didn’t catch her name sorry) but great little place with amazing sandwiches! My dad and I got Rio Grandes and the flavor in them are just what we needed on our long road trip back home!

Good food with no fuss! Our waitress Elaine did a fantastic job. 6 of us on a road trip to CO were pleased with our meals! Say hi to Mary the owner who actually works the shop.
