Food was excellent! Portions were huge and the price was great. Couldn’t even finish everything I got and I would have taken it home but we had a 3 and a half hour drive home. Don’t let the outside fool you…it’s worth it!

Was driving back home to northern Wisconsin. I was tired of fast food and wanted a good old family restaurant. Saw a sign and nestled in back of a truck repair yard was this welcoming building housing one of the nicest places I have ever stopped at. Both me and my wife enjoyed our waitress and a menu that had a nice variety of dishes. We had a very good breakfast with enough left over for when we got home. I can’t say enough about this place, just give them a try. John and Yvonne Linn

Excellent small town feel. One of the best fried sunny side eggs. I got to meet Mary and her lovely husband.

Super good food! Staff is really nice and had no problem serving a party of 8 pretty fast. Had to try the scrapple and I’ve become a believer. All the food was delicious! We ordered the strawberry french toast (just the right amount of sweet), country fried steak ( the steak was still crunchy underneath and the gravy is really good, slathered it on my potatoes), kielbasa omelettte, biscuits and gravy, and a cheese steak omelettte. I wish we lived close to Pennsylvania! Thank you Mary’s for a great brunch to start our trek back to Detroit.

Facilty is old and not well marked sitting back off the road. Wait staff are older but very accomodating.. food is average!

Driving through PA (from Maine to Michigan) for the beautiful mountains and colors. Stopped nearby for the night, and was happy to find Mary’s to start the day. The ambiance is open, casual and friendly. Staff are accommodating and pleasant; they put on a fresh pot of decaf for me, which I appreciated. I had the pumpkin pancakes because ’tis the season. They are huge, fluffy and deelish! The sausage links are delicious, too. Great start to the day!

Locally owned family restaurant. Owners are wonderful! Food is great, you must try the home fries for breakfast!

My husband and I stopped for breakfast before heading up the road. The location was hidden behind some trucks so it took some squeezing to get there. The service was friendly and quick. The meal wasn’t bad and came out quickly also. Simple atmosphere, nothing fancy but clean. Only off thing I noticed was who I assumed to be the cook came out front and had a super long beard with no net.
