The number one review for this place almost had me miss out on a hidden GEM!!!! Honestly have eaten sushi in over 15 different countries in all sorts of places. The quality of this place is out of control amazing. Hands down in my top 3 best tasting sushi I’ve had in my lifetime. Don’t miss out on this food. I took my family there to try all you can eat here because my friend told me it’s really good. Unfortunately it’s very disappointing. I can’t blame the restaurant though because I just believed the yelp reviews and my friend’s recommendation but if you are looking for a lot of imitation crabs and a lot of rice then this is the place to be. If you are looking for low quality and quantity Japanese food then come here. The service is not great. I came here before Covid I remember it was better but may be after Covid they cut down cost so the quality is very bad. Also the menu doesn’t have any description of what’s inside just the names and pictures. I wouldn’t have ordered that many if everything has imitation crab in it. There are better Japanese places in the valley here you guys can go check out. I feel so bad to take my brother here for his birthday. Also if people have real Japanese food before they would not give 5 stars to this restaurant at least recently because this is an insult to Japanese food.

This is one of the best sushi places in the valley. The AYCE is excellent with a wide range of selections that are all fresh and made to order. Must try all their appetizers and sushi.

I went here in August 2022, I can say that finally I found a overall good restaurant. This place is honest, efficient and good quality food. I have been in this area trying to find a decent place to eat for a week an honestly it has been disappointing. However I will be coming back to this restaurant because I know I will not be disappointed and leave happy. Thank you Maru Sushi.

We usually go to Hikari but the reviews were good here so we thought we would try it. Two words…food poisoning. Yikes. Besides that…its a Boring run down place….staff were ok but since it was slow in there you would think they would be super helpful but the opposite happened and they seemed distant about their job and more focused on watching the game on the TVs….well we tried it…paid the price…and won’t go back.

Nothing beats the price and quality for this AYCE sushi place! I have been here twice and enjoyed both times. Sadly, my favorite chef went elsewhere but the food was still delicious. The service is excellent as well. $29 pp with sashimi included. Recommend trying this spot for good quality without breaking the bank.
