Loved it! Authentic. Fresh, abundant and affordable. Long time neighborhood sushi restaurant on Burnet Road.

It’s a small family restaurant. There are various dishes, but it’s traditional and modern sushi, alone more mixed.

Cute, cozy sushi spot near campus. Quick service, friendly staff, good sushi. Would go back for a couple of the rolls, but they weren’t great. The free cheesecake bites were a nice touch. Really it’s a 4.5.

Small and cozy sushi restaurant that really needs to hire more people. We made a reservation at 6:30 and the place was full but it looked like there were only two people working. It look 10minutes to get seated and then it look an hour for them to take our order, people that got seated after us got helped before we did. There was a speck floating around in my water cup. The sushi itself was good, we got the tiger roll, j-bomb (the favorite), and the rock n’ roll. the calamari wasn’t worth it for the price. Service was not good at all. I was disappointed with my experience. I was really hoping that this place would be great.

Overall, it was very good. Just a few of the nigri sushi were a little chewy (salmon). A little pricier than other Sushi places we’ve been recently.

The sushi was pretty good, definitely fresh fish. It’s very mom & pop, 90s vibe. Clean. If you go, pack your patience bc there seemed to be only 2 people working (Tuesday evening) The wife seems to be the host & waitress all tables. The husband is the chef. She gave little cheesecake assortment squares when she brought the tab, delicious! The stacks of magazines by the entrance was odd, some were dated 2015.

I hope everyone who loves sushi can try this place at least once in their lives. Incredibly delicious and although the price is high, so is the quality of the sushi, and I personally think it’s as great as you can go before you hit the extra fancy places. Owners are so sweet as well, and it makes you feel welcomed to be there.

I had the salmon teriyaki bento box and my honey had the bulgogi box–we agreed the salmon was perfectly cooked. We also shared the mushroom roll which we both liked. Loved the little cheesecake cake as a complimentary touch.

I’ve loved this little mom & pop place for all of the nearly 20 years I’ve lived in Austin. They don’t follow showy, gastronomic trends (though there’s a place in my heart for that, too), it’s just really, REALLY good, quality sushi. The menu prices will look high until you see the cuts, and it will feel like a bargain. I recently returned after a years-long hiatus. The mackerel is marinated in their own unique way and I teared up a little at tasting it again.
