My wife and I celebrated our 15 year anniversary at Martin’s and we both enjoyed it. They didn’t have any ginger beer or ginger ale (I asked for a Moscow Mule) so I just asked the staff to make something similar, and I wasn’t dissapointed. I had the Grouper, my wife had the lobster, and we split the vegetables. The vegetables were pretty plain so I don’t think I’d order those again, but everything else was good. A bit pricey here, but for special occasions, I’d recommend it.

Definitely not the younger atmosphere. Food was mid but did the job. We had a party of 6 so we tried a variety of food. The steak was cooked to perfection. Mash potatoes as a side was amazing! The lamb was tender. I specifically ate the shrimp Alfredo and the shrimp to the sauce was perfect! The yellowtail fish was fishy to me and had a scale, however the person who ordered it, liked it and ate all of it. My only negatives were a fly in the dining room, we shouldn’t be swatting away bugs from our food and drinks.

We live in Tampa Bay and are visiting Key West. Last night (6-2-23) we ate at Martin’s. The food was absolutely divine! We ordered a bottle of Prosecco and that was delicious as well. Our waiter was excellent, wish I could remember his name..he was a tall man, very very informative and nice.

Hands down our best dining experience in Key West. Sat at the bar for happy hour. Be sure to arrive before the 4pm opening! Waiting in line was well worth it. Everything we had was outstanding! Bartender was kind enough to make me a mocktail since I’m pregnant. Can’t wait to come back and enjoy the martinis!!

Have been to Martin’s so many times and was always happy with everything until my last visit… Went with 2 girlfriends on Wednesday for a happy hour and was soooooo disappointed with the service, I couldn’t even believe that was happening but looks like if the server doesn’t think that you belong to that place he’s gonna make some mean comments and make the whole table feel uncomfortable… The guy was trying to get rid of us so hard. We still left tips but way more less than I would usually for a happy hour, soooo disappointed, would not recommend it anymore and would rather choose another place to eat, even though the martinis and food are always good there.

Your food choice and menu is amazing best part of experience. Your waiter was a bit snooty but the hostess made up for it. Also I saw a huge cockroach but it was outside at night in Key West in your outside eating area so what can you expect Also I put on reservation it was for birthday and snooty waiter did not even ask if we wanted to do something special for this. Overall everyone was nice and looked like they were trying.

Ate dinner on Sat at Martin’s. Food was excellent and service very good. A suggestion for Martin, who, I’ve seen looks at these reviews; the bill includes 18% service charge (which is fine) but the credit card slip has a box for the tip and then total. Some restaurants do leave the box as “additional tip”, which acknowledges that the service charge, typically 20% is a tip. If the waiters been great I may leave a little extra. The problem I have with just the word “tip”, is the suggestion (it may just be sensitive me) that I’m not leaving a tip if I leave it blank. But you’ve added the tip already. So I feel uncomfortable, like I’m screwing the waiter or being ripped off. So, I don’t tend to go back to that sort of restaurant. I don’t think I’m alone.

We chose to dine at Martin’s in celebration of our first anniversary. The experience overall was phenomenal! As we were welcomed in, the host wished us a happy anniversary and made us feel very special. This same treatment continued throughout the meal as our server was hospitable and tentative. There was never a moment that we had to ask for a refill, reuse silverware, or worry about a single crumb being on the table. He cleaned our table before serving each course! We couldn’t possibly speak more highly of the atmosphere, food quality, and staff! They made our dining experience one we will never forget!
