I’ve been waiting to try this place, a lot of people seem to like it. It did not live up to expectations. If you are going to charge $30 for risotto in a tiny Georgia town, it better be great. It was not. Service was good enough. The risotto and the burger were bad. I had to reach over my food to eat some of my kids tenders (which I think we prepackaged). My wife’s burger was ordered medium rare and it can put very well done. See photo. Just not somewhere I intend on going to again.

A unique Find. It is a nostalgic old southern type restaurant which amplitudes class and elegance in their food, delightful service and the ambience. It was a beautiful warm place for lunch. Loved it!

Beautiful setting and live music,the food is unique and I love the fact that local farms are supported here. My husband and I drove out on a lovely evening and had front row seats and great drinks. The menu teases you with dishes that are full of southern charm but absolutely worthy of 5 star praise. Cheers to everyone and keep turning out the smiles,drinks and satisfying dishes!

This place is in a quaint little area and a hidden gem in Bolingbroke. The food was delicious and didn’t disappoint but the strawberry basil martini was the highlight for me! We will be going back to try additional items on the menu.

I have tried several items on the lunch and dinner menu and my favorite so far has been the Beef Stroganoff. However, tonight I ordered the “Half Chicken with Chefs vegetables” & WOW! I like sides so we ordered the Pimento Cheese Bites and Fried Okra which both were very tasty as well. My husband ordered a mixed greens salad with the Chefs special Lemon Mint Vinaigrette dressing and it was amazing! The selection of beer & wine is extraordinary, and the strawberry mint martini seems to be very popular too! I can honestly say there has not been one item that I have tasted that was not unique in taste or presentation and Chef Josh Howard really is an artist in the kitchen! Oh! The burgers are so good too! The restaurant has new owners and new managers and so far it seems to be keeping a good reputation of serving fine quality food with professional service. 100% recommend!!

A good southern restaurant with live music. I had the sweetest waitress name Courtney that helped me with my order an recommended me the smoked porkchop. First time try this place it was a big mistake. I order waffle and ck, it came with fruit, waffle and ck, none of this combination was fresh. the chicken was cold, waffle was not fluffy and fresh at all , there was no taste for the chicken but syrup. some of the fruit was old and taste weird too. they apologize and fix up , which I think the “fix up ” is basically microwave the food. serve cold premade food in this restaurant is just so wrong, even kfc and other fast food places fresh make them and taste so much better than this. I dont understand why they would put syrup on the chicken too, would make so much nore sense to leave it on the side. definitely not coming back. still leave a decent tip , the waitress was friendly and pay attention to the customer.

Fantastic experience. Excellent service. This was the second time having Courtney host, and she was excellent. Bone marrow was plentiful and cooked very well, fried okra was crisp and not heavy, and the filet mignon with marsala sauce was cooked perfectly to my desired doneness.

I wanted to take the time to make this review as descriptive as possible so you the reader could hopefully walk this EXEMPLRY dining experience with me. After working on and off in the food service industry for 30 years FoH and BoH, I decided to actually become a foodie, since then I have been an active foodie all up and down the east coast and in the mid-west for the last 20 plus years. The size of my rear will tell you all those great experience foodie stories. When I am at a place of this caliber for the first time I make considerations for cleanliness, service/customer service, quality of food (preparation and ingredients of food), knowledge of food and beverages being offered and presentation.
