Awful. Just flat out bad. First time ordering based on reviews and it was very disappointing. How do you make pizza this bad? Not sure what all these other people are ordering that say it’s great. I found it bland, overcooked, and very thick with little cheese. We got double cheese and pepperoni and it was awful. Pizza and salad (which was literally just chopped romaine and tomato) was $30…should be a crime for what we got.

girl. everyone said this place was good but dear lord. i paid 21 real american dollars for a large pizza. what i got back was olives not covering half the pizza, crust that tasted like chalk, and on top of all that, it was barely even warm! what! i am thoroughly confused. bye !

This place is absolutely disgusting it’s beyond me how they pass inspection. i have never seen a place so poorly ran. not to mention my daughter one time saw a mouse run across her foot. the owner is a complete jerk she is rude to everyone. not to mention the food is below mediocre it is not good and everything is pre made and frozen so don’t even think your getting “fresh pies” this place is a disgrace do not recommend to anyone.

We arrived at Marrone’s at 8:17pm on Sunday. The website said closing time is 9:00. Unfortunately we were refused service. I completely understand, however please change website to say kitchen closes at 8:00pm. It really doesn’t take that long to cook a pizza.

We were the 2nd table in the whole place. Enjoyed that it wasn’t packed. First time here. Got the upside-down and it was good. Sauce was bright. The Volcano cake was good.

Very mean people. I tried this pizza place for the first time, and the woman who answered the phone, was very rude and mad at me, for not knowing about how to order their pizza… she actually yelled at me for bit being fast enough and asking questions. (1 minute into the call) For a first experience, I was very frustrated and turned off by their rudeness and mockery. We will not be ordering from them ever again.

This was seriously some of the most amazing pizza I’ve ever had! The staff was so kind to us and recommended their signature pizza with cheese on the bottom and sauce on top. I’d never had this before so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but turns out it was a huge treat. The sauce was flavorful, there was a perfect amount of cheese, and the dough was perfectly cooked and quite airy (yet had a great deal of substance to it).

A cozy Italian restaurant that reminds you of the small family owned restaurants in South Philly with great dishes and friendly atmosphere. I had the pizzas which are so amazing that you can’t believe they wouldn’t just make them as their primary dish but their dinners are equally good. The meatballs are a must! There is a small 9 seat bar inside offering mixed drinks, wine, bottled beer and a single beer on tap. Parking is a challenge if the small lot is filled but we’ve never had an issue when arriving before 5pm.

We traveled an hour out of our way just to have Marrone’s pizza and chicken parmigiana. The pizza crust is unlike any other. More like hearty/ crusty, Italian bread than pizza crust. The sauce is rich and tasty. The chicken parmigiana is served with handmade pasta and uses thick juicy chicken breasts rather than cutlets.
