A hidden gem in OC, MD! The whole staff was super friendly and our server, Mackenzie, was awesome. Atmosphere was wonderful with a great view, food was delicious and waiting time was minimal. An excellent choice even if you aren’t staying at the hotel. Thanks so much!

Good, not great. The lobster was good, flavorful but the filet was just okay. It lacked seasoning. The crab cakes were a decent size and a good value for the price but again, the seasonings were lacking. Again, they were good; not great. The crab dip was actually quite tasty. My only complaint with that was the melted cheese on top was a congealed glob that didn’t easily separate. It would have been better if the cheese was IN the dish instead of on top of the dish. Finally, the cream of crab soup was so-so. For a seafood restaurant in Ocean City, Maryland I expected more. I may return but I’m sure that I’ll try other places first.

We love the Marlin Moon! Food is great and staff is amazing! We love that one day we can have a sit down dinner and the next wings and sandwiches to go! Crab soup, salads and bread are amazing! Would have gave 5 stars but you changed your Chicken strips my sons fave and the fries. Bring back the old ones! We ate with you 3 of our 6 nights. Thanks to the bartender for teaching my boy about the oysters when be tried them for the 1st time!

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel but, the hostess ruined the restaurant for us. We arrived, a party of 3 to include our 10 year old autistic daughter on Saturday. Our daughter navigates life with basic directions. 1. Follow the hostess to the table. She did. The hostess set menus on the table. My daughter assumed that’s where she should sit. Apparently a little too close for the hostesses liking. I picked up on it and immediately redirected my kiddo to an adjacent spot. Keep in mind, autism isn’t always visible. My kiddo looks normal. You don’t know until you observe. But, the hostess felt the need to linger for no obvious reason beyond giving my daughter a severe dirty look that went on too long until I intervened and said ” I’m sorry, was she too close to you?” To which the hostess replied “yeah” and left. Our waitress was great. We enjoyed our food without incident. When we left, the hostess couldn’t be bothered to look up from her magazine. We will return to the hotel but, not this restaurant which is a shame. Here’s the thing, every 10-year old understands what “mean” feels like but, most don’t understand the why behind it. The hostess should have said something to me or moved on if my daughter standing shoulder to shoulder bothered her so much. I do get it, particularly in the age of covid but, voice your upset to the adult.

Looking for a happy hour and couldn’t believe this place had one on the weekend. It was even better than we expected. Pretty extensive happy hour. menu. Our waitress was so nice and friendly. The food was even better than we expected too. So there was a lot of better than expected’s happening here. It’s a nice clean place inside the hotel. Would definitely recommend if you’re in the area. Super nice time here!

Very overrated tourist trap. The service and location are good but the kitchen has made some strange decisions. The food is very salty. The mashed potato portions are oversized. I noticed a few tables throwing them away. The price is way too high for basic flavors. $140 for two entrees, one app, and water. The steak was decent but not exceptional. The crab cake was very good as well as the crab dip. Everything else you can get the same items at better quality for cheaper in the area.

I had the stuffed shrimp with house aioli, which was very good! Cute restaurant that is never busy but always has people enjoying a meal or a drink.

This restaurant was beautiful and went above and beyond to accommodate our family. We were seated right away. Our server, McKenzie, was extremely attentive, and the food was incredible! We started with the Crab dip, oysters Rockefeller and scallops appetizers. Incredible! For dinner, I had salmon topped with Crab Imperial, and my husband had the snapper. My sons both had fried fish with french fries, and even their fish was delicious. I was impressed that the kids’ options didn’t taste like frozen fish sticks, but was a quality fish. We would definitely visit this restaurant again!

So, I gotta get this off my chest about my recent experience. I was pretty excited to dine here, but man, the front desk staff was just plain rude. Right from the get-go, it was like they’d rather be anywhere else. They barely cracked a smile, and when we asked about the menu, it felt like we were bothering them. The food was not even all that, pasta was very salty, there was still leftover sauce mark on the table from the previous diners, but the bad vibes from the staff seriously killed the mood the most. I hope someone reads this and gives the staff a nudge to step up their game and treat customers better.

We have been coming to Marlin Moon since it opened in 2018. We probably come 3 to 5 times a year with friends, family, or just us. The food is always fantastic. We love the atmosphere, and we love our server, Jackie. We request her every time we come. She already knows what we like to drink. And she always makes the best recommendations. When we’re looking to try something new. We always recommend this to our family and friends when they ask us where to go to eat. We’re looking forward to our next visit.
