Working on a recommendation my daughter and I visited Marlai Thai Cuisine. Parking was very easy and accommodating. We parked in the very front of the restaurant on the main road. From the outside the restaurant looked very clean and inviting. We were greeted and seated very friendly and were made to feel extremely welcome. A young polite girl working helped us with some great recommendations from the menu. The food was extremely delicious and the recommendations were spot on. We both enjoyed our meals and will definitely be bringing back friends and family with us again and again. There is a Thai restaurant closer to my house but this is hands down at the top of my list and my new favorite. Before we left we had the surprising opportunity and pleasure to meet the owner who was a very friendly welcoming gentleman. It is easy to see that this restaurant is successful for many reasons. I’m sure it is a staple of the community.

This place is legitimately the worst Thai restaurant I have ever eaten at! The salmon in the picture below cost $30! And the $26 cashew chicken is stale, dry deli chicken with some sort of goopy sauce mixed in that tastes disgusting! It’s borderline highway robbery at the prices they charged me.

Amazing thai food experience, best to dine in and make sure to make your presence known at the door so you are seated.( this place is very busy) My whole family went..you can have a traditional thai dinner experience as they have the facilities and cater to large parties as well.

Wow, food was outstanding, some of the best Thai food I’ve had in Seattle! Kind of an obscure location with an unassuming exterior, but it’s easy to enjoy the food! Only four stars on service, decent but not spectacular on a sleepy Sunday afternoon. Definitely recommended!

I’ve been here twice with another person, once when it was crowded and another time when we were the only ones there. They have three specials this month (which were the same as last month’s…), and I tried all three. (Pictures are posted)

A couple things to start with while service is one star I would like to give some background. I ordered lunch on a Wednesday. There were two cooks and one host I know that it is hard to get staff right now. That being said I had a two item order. After picking it up one item was wrong. So I had to come back. They also did not ask me for the spice level. They said you have to ask I found this odd since every other thai place I have been to asked me how to order. To me these two things are off since the mix up item was pad Thai about as plain Jane as it gets. Food was decent above average below amazing. I would recommend dine in

When they gave the bill it was $87.00 but they charged $96.00. I would have tipped but that was pretty sketchy. Food was extremely sweet and they gave no options for spice. Not my favorite Thai place. Flavors were very Americanized.

Way too expensive for what you get. I feel their food does not justify how overpriced it is. My husband’s family likes this place, so we’ve eaten from here a handful times. It’s been alright, but this last time absolutely put me off for good. All I wanted was phad Thai tofu. What I got was a mess of noodles and random vegetables. See picture below. I called to confirm, this IS how their tofu Phad Thai is supposed to be. It definitely wasn’t like this when I ordered it previously. Put me off enough to leave this review. Gross.

What used to be a consistent good Thai experience, has turned pretty bad. Grew up coming here and it’s sad to see the food go south. Bummer. Hope they get it fixed.

Great service and great food! We were surprised by raisins in the Pineapple fried rice, but luckily I like raisins well enough to eat them anyway.
