Looking for a quick dinner with my UM student son and stopped in this very clean and friendly diner. The servers were friendly and I love that the kitchen and cooks are in open; they were also friendly to customers as they prepared food. My son ordered their burger (he consumed in about five bites) and I ordered the BLT wrap with French fries….both made to perfection (fries were perfectly golden)! My son ordered the homemade apple pie, warmed with whip cream…he could not stop talking about how good it was, lol. This restaurant is located right off 23; you don’t need to go into the heart of AA to find a delicious home cooked meal! We have decided to add this local diner to our short list and can’t wait to go back for breakfast.

Stopped for a quick breakfast. The place was packed but we found a booth tucked into the back. Somebody came to take our order, mentioning that there were only two servers that day and they were slammed. You would have never known. The two waitresses worked interchangeably, each checking in on tables and sorting out food and checks as needed. Breakfast came quickly, and it was hot, fresh, and well made. This Coney Island was a happy find, and we hope to get back again.

Mark’s is usually reliable for a good meal, but this time the gravy that comes with biscuits and gravy was almost tasteless. There was no discernable sausage in the gravy, as it tasted like plain ‘ol milk gravy with hardly any seasoning.

My son and i walked in for a quick bite to eat in-between appts. The waitress greeted us and served us as well. Food was amazing. I had the southern omelet which was packed with bacon! Omg! and my son had the pancakes and they were plate size. Great place with great food. Will return!!
